Clarkson Eyecare

This is a great eye care office. The staff is great and their doctors are excellent. I'm now appreciating all their studies and the clinical history they keep of my eyes as well as the prescriptions. The office is nice and comfortable and their selection of glasses and lenses is great too. I've been coming to their offices for my eye care for 5 years now and it is great. I recommend it.

I've only had two visits, but both were good. The staff were professional, organized, efficient and friendly. They made me feel at ease and welcoming. The office was clean and practicing safe distance, mask-wearing and hand washing measures. I was also pleased with my glasses. Most of all, I was pleased with my eye exam by Dr. Quraishi. Thanks! RL

Big shout out to this place. I had to get my glasses repaired the bummer support fell out. You know the little rubber things that sit on your noise so you don't get groves in your nose. And they where able to fix it. Great customer service. Thanks Keith I didn't get my glasses from here. But based on the friendly greeting and excellent service. I was not the only person in the store. And I listened to how the staff took care of there clients. Makes me feel that this place is a great place to come to get your glasses needs

The staff and doctors are great! No complaint about them at all. The only issue that my girlfriend and I had was with the lady that is in charge of ordering the glasses. Since our first meeting she gave my girlfriend a major attitude directly at her towards her decisions of which glasses she wanted. Her customer service skills are lacking, probably the worst service we've received at any ophthalmologist . Never received a phone call to let us that the glasses are ready to be picked up. Both my girlfriend and I had to call them directly to figure out what was going on. They said 2 weeks, turned out to be almost a month because no one would give us an update on the glasses. Finally after much waited time the glasses were finally ready and we go pick them up. The frame was tight around my girlfriend's nose and she mentioned it to the lady that sold her the glasses the first time... "There's nothing I can do, they'll loosen up eventually." she says to her. The total disrespect for the simple fact the frame is plastic and can be molded with heat, something one can probably do but what is the point if you're paying over $300 for a frame that is supposed to fit to the desire of the user.

Horrible customer service. They scheduled a follow up appointment for my mom on January 1st. I asked to make sure they open on New Year's Day, and they said yes. My mom arrived that day just to find that the store was closed. I called the store the following week to reschedule her appointment, it took a few days to finally get someone on the phone. The receptionist was not able to schedule the appointment immediately because she had to contact the doctor to know what type of retinal scan my mom needed. She said she would follow up, but she never did. Second week in January, I called the store again, and they never found out what kind of retinal scan my mom needed, but they scheduled an appointment anyway at the end of the third week in January (first available slot). I asked them to give me a call back to let me know what type of test it is, but of course they never did. I followed up at the beginning of third week and the receptionist was explaining it very rudely. I needed to make sure I obtain enough time to take off from work, so I asked how long the whole test and doctor exam would take, and she said 5-10 minutes total. Appointment day finally came, just to find out my mom's eyes have to be dilated, which takes at least 30 minutes more. Don't waste your time to come to this store. Find a better customer service elsewhere.

I received an email to provide a review for Clarkson but, I was already going to do that. The staff was nothing short of fantastic. They were extremely professional. I will say that I'm probably like most people. I neglect to have my eyes checked regularly. That said, I do remember the process and this was more thorough than any visit that I had in the past. I booked an appointment online with Dr. Quraishi. She took the time to listen and explain why I was experiencing certain things. Then I worked with Bryan, the Optician. He helped me decide on a pair of frames. He was knowledgeable and patient...very patient. The only thing I would point out is that being in a storefront, (the office in Yorktown Center) you get the impression you can walk in and get some type of immediate assistance. This IS a doctors office. You don't walk into a doctor's office and demand to be seen, do you? While I was there, a lady came in and had the impression that she could get immediate help. Byran was extremely polite to her, explaining that he was working with a patience and had two more people that were behind me. SO, book on line and have a great experience. Don't think you can walk in without an appointment and then get in a huff when you can't get what you want? That's just rude.

I had been to this office 2 years ago for reading glasses, and that was perfect. But this time, it took painful three months to receive two pairs of progressive glasses. I have spent $400 and used up all my insurance benefits to them. But, the glasses came out wrong. They even did not say that they were sorry about the problems. At each visit to their office, the people and the doctors who work there could fix only one side of the problem. They wanted to get away with that by blaming my eyes which they see perfectly with my old pair of glasses. I only wanted to have a new frame with more advanced features. Instead, I lost my money, got hysterical after being humiliated by the second doctor in that office who told me to go and see another doctor somewhere else and bring the result which I did. This time, the office, assuming that, used cheap quality progressive lenses. So, I need to buy a new pair of glasses. At the end, visiting their office did cost me a lot mentally, physically, and financially. If you need to get progressive glasses from this office, better stop now.

Drs May, Hettler, & Associates is fantastic. Our entire family goes to the Falls Church location for exams and glasses. The Drs are great and explain everything to you and the team that runs the store is amazing. They are kind, helpful and patient. We will be going here for years to come.
