Dr. Christina A. Bruno, MD

Dr. Bruno used to have great bedside manners, very friendly and professional. I don't know what happened that changed her 360 degree but on my last visit she was dismissive and couldn't wait to get rid of me and recently she chased away my mother whom she told that she needs surgery because her cataract is dense. She showed her that she had no confidence in her abilities. I really don't understand why she did that but as a result of her actions, I left her practice along with my mother and father whom I recommended her to.

I just had a visit with Dr. Bruno and it was above and beyond. I noticed the one star review below and I was puzzled. It was literally a direct opposite of my experience. I have diabetes and eye exams are really important in managing my vision and health of my eyes. She does have a nurse practitioner that will handle the preliminary testing steps which have been the practice in any ophthalmologists' practice I have visited in the past. In order to maximize her time with patients, it is very necessary to have this done by the practitioners. I can absolutely understand the reviewer's concerns because most likely the reviewer saw optometrists that handled these tasks in the past. But most of her patients are getting checked for various concerns that might lead to surgery, it is quite a different visit all together. She takes her time in explaining any changes and listens to all my concerns. I have been her patient for more than 15 years. On a personal note, I highly recommend Dr. Bruno and after visiting various medical practices due to age and health, I can absolutely say that she is the best.

Totally disappointed with Dr. Bruno. I have been struggling with astigmatism for the past few years and tried Dr.Bruno for the first time after seeing all the reviews. I was expecting she would do the entire exam by herself as this was the first time visiting this facility. However, some assistant took the readings and Dr.Bruno spent between 5-10 mins with me and rushing to finish up the appointment. She didn't even check my eye sight ad wrote the prescription whatever the assistant took it. I asked her why the eye sight is lower compared to what I had with my previous glass and she didnt have the right answer and she didn't even want to listen. She kept rushing to end the appointment. Very much disappointed with the service.

I have been seeing Dr. Bruno for about 5 years. I have found her to be incredibly professional and kind. She is smart, very knowledgeable and thorough. I'm thrilled to have found her.

I absolutely love Dr Bruno! She listens and always courteous. She is very understanding. I didn't realize how much my eyes needed some TLC.
