Harman Eye LASIK Center

I have had ok experiences with them in the past, but not so much in recent years. Last appointment I showed up early and sat in the lobby for 30-40 minutes before being seen. For those of us that leave work, it shows they do not value your time. The appointment felt rushed. Dr. was nice and professional but didn't have that personal feel. The optical department.. They don't answer the phone. You basically leave a message and they will get back to you the next day. I had an emergent business trip and noticed one of my contact lens boxes was empty, so I went online and ordered contacts. Order was denied by Harmon because my prescription expired 1 month ago. I called the office and they simply said, "Its up to you to keep up with your prescriptions". I've been wearing lenses for 30 years and don't need the sarcastic remarks. I had one box run low. They OFFERED 0 ways to help and said sorry.... Nothing to help a loyal customer.. I'll take my business elsewhere. Beware. If you want something more personnel and profession, look into Piedmont Eye Center.

Made a specific appointment for my child 6 weeks ago. The appointment is today and they called to inform that the optometrist scheduled does not see children. They offered for us to show up but likely not be seen because that is the optometrist's policy. When asked to reschedule the alternative time was in the am and had scheduling conflicts. The receptionist called me 'fussy' because I requested a similar time to my original appointment. She then hung up without rescheduling. I wish this appointment wasn't something so critical and important for my child. I wish I knew how to navigate this side of Healthcare better, but I am fully at the mercy of the providers in this area. The insane thing is that we had the exact same treatment at America's Best. Do you all collude to have unprofessional and inefficient processes across the whole area? Can you provide me with a list of the other terrible providers so that I might avoid them and actually get my child seen? Have you ever been to a Chick-fil-A or Starbucks and seen how costumer support is supposed to work? How is it so difficult for you to take my appointment, schedule what I need, fulfill the appointment. I won't even complain that it's six weeks out! Wow, you must be so busy, I'll gladly wait six weeks for what I desperately need after the last provider couldn't fulfill. Here I am, three months in and couldn't be more bewildered at the lack of professionalism. Harmon, you are part of the problem, not the solution.

As a life-long customer service retailer, I know good service. But these folks at THIS facility were not just good, but the fit every definition of FANTASTIC. Has double cataract surgery, and went back for followups, and discussion about my next step-glaucoma treatment. However, upon my last visit concerning my cataract surgery, was actually told that I no longer needed glaucoma surgery as the cataract treatment resolved the glaucoma pressure. They could have gone for the money and performed the glaucoma treatment, but they were as happy about the end results of cataract treatment as I was! WOW! You just don't find customer service like THAT today. I am a HUGE LIFELONG FAN!!

I am officially one week post-op from LASIK and I could not be happier with the results. From start to finish the Harman Eye Center team were incredible to work with. They made me feel comfortable and relaxed before surgery, during surgery, and have continued to be helpful post-op. Dr. Harman explained the procedure so thoroughly and his team was so helpful in explaining exactly what to expect while I was in the surgery center. I would do it all over again if I had to. I am seeing 20/20 a week after my surgery and I am absolutely amazed with how well the procedure turned out.

Had my Lasik surgery performed by Dr. Harman and it was the greatest decision Ive made for my health. The surgery was painless and over in 15 min. I woke up that night after napping and could see clearly. Have had zero issues. Cant believe I wore contacts for so long with Dr. Harman 3 miles from me. Staff is extremely kind and welcoming as well. They really go the extra mile to ensure you are comfortable with the whole process.

I was prescribed my first pair of glasses at eight years old. By fourth grade I was wearing contact lenses on a daily basis. I had a significant astigmatism and was not able to function without some form of correction. When my vision stabilized in my twenty's, I had considered corrective surgery but the thought of it terrified me. Finally, at 37 I decided to go for it. The procedure was a breeze! Dr. Harman and his team were extremely professional and compassionate. Each step of the process was smooth and very well organized. All of his staff were amazing to work with and went above and beyond what I expected. I woke up the morning after my LASIK procedure seeing more clearly than I ever have! I am so grateful for Dr. Harman and the amount of dedication he has spent making his practice the best of the best. It is very obvious when you walk through the doors that you are their number one priority. My only regret is that I did not do this years ago!

I had LASIK surgery with Dr. Harman less than 24 hours ago. At my follow up appointment this morning I discovered that I had 20/20 vision! I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. Every staff member was kind, helpful, and friendly. More importantly, they all knew their stuff. They guided me through the entire process and everything was exactly like they said it would be. I especially liked the full body chair massage prior to the surgery. They went out of their way to make me feel relaxed. I absolutely would recommend Harman Eye Center.

I had a wonderful experience at Harman! Victoria was extremely friendly and helpful in setting up my appointments and answering any questions I had. Other staff members that facilitated my eye exams and post-op demonstrated excellent professionalism and courtesy to my needs as a patient. The procedure went very well and I appreciated how Dr. Harman and his nurses verbally encouraged me through out the surgery. The equipment used in surgery is state of the art technology and amazes me how science can work wonders on the human eye. The most amazing part is how I was able to wake up the next morning and I could see! Thank you so much to Harman Eye Center! The investment is more than worth it.
