Virginia Eye Clinic: Dr. Timothy J. Wilson & Associates

I have been a patient for many years and ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Virginia Eye Clinic. It it always organzied and cleaned. The staff is amazing and works efficiently and well with everything I need to get done. The staff goes the extra mile to help in any way they can. They had my order for glasses ready in a really short amount of time like always. Dr. Wilson is very knowledgeable with what he is doing and flawless with his work. This is an excellent business and would recommend to anyone!

I was extremely pleased with the visit and conversations with Dr. Anderson. They did not seem as rushed to get to the next patient as I have experienced with some of the larger discount chains. Measurements for my new glasses were taken by one optician and then rechecked by another to better insure a correct fit. And, in the Forest location, you can also buy some chocolate covered peanuts in the same facility!

I enjoyed my visit at this eye clinic. I am usually nervous about having my eyes checked but the workers were nice to me and it helped ease my nerves. The optical area had a really good selection of frames too and they worked with my budget. Overall, I was happy with my experience and would recommend this business to others.

Love the atmosphere! The office is gorgeous, clean and inviting. Everyone was professional and polite. My wait time was extremely short and my entire appointment was less than one hour. Their business hours are very accommodating to my work schedule. Dr Anderson was excellent and her entire team made this a great experience. I would defiantly return and highly recommend!

Clean, hospitable office and staff. They have appointments available after 5pm on some days which is super convenient. Last year the optician was a little aggressive when trying to get me to buy my contacts through them, however, this time a different optician simply said ok and I was given my prescription with no problems. Dr Wilson talks fast but he is wonderful!

The appointment I had was fine. But when I asked to get new glasses I feel that I was taken advantage of. I am now paying about double what I expected to pay because of the way the employee phrased the cost (she only told me HALF of the total and didn't SAY that it was half). I feel that they just wanted my money and showed me the most expensive brands without disclosing the prices. I was not even able to look at the selection they had.

My family has been coming to Virginia Eye Clinic since they opened -- for my whole life. They've recently introduced predatory pricing and mandatory tests that aren't covered by insurance. They gave no notice to the changes either through mail or by phone. There were new tests each time a family member went in, pushing the bill up and wasting their time and ours.

The WORST the WORST!!! I went in for my follow up apt. on 221 for contacts-they didn't have them in (knowing that's what I came in for) so they told me to go to wards Rd. Or come back in a week- I've already came in 2 weeks in a row. The staff is very inadequate I was told I was over charged- for my initial consultation and then when I came to pick up my contacts I was told that I had a balance on my account. (Which took them 45 mins to look up) I couldn't leave without my contacts without paying the balance... I asked what did the balance come from, and was told for eye drop solution that at the time of my visit was just handed to me..and not included on my invoice- No one told me how much they were. I will NEVER again go back and will NEVER recommend anyone to go there.I had asked for a note for a glare screen- guess what I never recieved it! I have never been so frustrated with all the hidden fees.. Please be WARNED. I only chose one star because it would let me post it without doing so.
