Complete administrative chaos. Appointments confirmed by email mysteriously "disappear" when you arrive. I showed up twice for scheduled visits, only to be told I had no appointment and to reschedule again--without any prior notification. Patient information submitted online was not reflected in their system, forcing redundant paperwork. Total disregard for patients' time and zero confidence in their scheduling and data management processes. Medical staff may be competent, but the front desk operations are unacceptable.

I loved the staff, so that is why im giving this place a star. But my visit with the doctor (Dr. Toosi) was ridiculous. I was trying to communicate at one point about how I can just go temporarily blind, and he told me his professional advise was that I need to "avoid being tired". He had me wait well over a reasonable amount of time, and was incredibly unhelpful and didnt take my concerns seriously. I was extremely disappointed because given my specialty eye problems, he was the only person willing to see me and I had to cross the water to see him just to be disappointed like this.

My son was referred to this practice after getting a scratch on his eye. He met with Dr. Toosi who prescribed him with lubricating drops. Dr Toosi was so strange, we contacted our regular doctor. They were shocked Dr. Toosi didn't prescribed antibiotics and an anti-viral. Because of this my son developed an infection and an ulcer on his eye. Do not be fooled by the name of this practice. They are not doing their due diligence.

For 21 years have visited MSES Kempsville office, Dr. Whitelock was my Dr. back then, after a while he left to open another practice location and I stayed as closer to my home. My New Dr., Dr. Adams, and staff, have taken very good care of me. Jerry in optical shop does an excellent job when you need eye glasses, contacts, or eye surgery. Very professional and caring. I would recommend this practice to family & friends. A happy patient.
