Excellent experience at Clarkson Eyecare in Sterling. Dr. Gee and Dr. Mazeas are outstanding--professional, thorough, and very good at making patients feel comfortable while clearly explaining options.
The staff is efficient and kind, and the eyewear selection is one of the best I've found in Northern Virginia. They offer everything from high-end brands like Prada and Gucci to stylish, affordable frames.
Special recognition to Ruth, who has handled my glasses and lens orders for over 12 years. Her attention to detail and customer care are exceptional. The office manager is equally impressive, keeping everything running smoothly and efficiently while helping save you money. Highly recommend!

Worst experience ever. I ordered 2 pairs of glasses on Nov 18. After 5 visits over 3 months, they still couldn't get my prescription right. Lenses were put in the wrong frames, prescriptions were mixed up multiple times, and they even put the same prescription in both glasses when one was for reading/computer and the other for everyday use.
One pair gives me headaches, eye pain, and blurred vision and is unusable. The blue-light filter I paid for was not included. I wasted time, money, and energy and still don't have proper glasses.
I expect the store to respond and take responsibility for this. Completely incompetent. Do not recommend.

The first time I use sterling location have no problem. The second time I didn't have a experience. The front dest made our appointment and send us the email for appointment notification where the time was wrong for our appointment.
After my eye exam the technician was not able to explain our benefits, he was not clear at all . I keep asking him the question to get a clear explanation but he keep telling me I am checking and we get frustrated. When I made the appointment I clearly mentioned that me and my daughter both just need eye exam and nothing els. Dr did my daughter's lens prescription without telling her that it will be out of pocket and not covered by our insurance. While I was waiting out side for my glasses to order. When it was time to pay they ask us extra $60 for the lenses proscription.this is our right to know about the charges before any extra exam

I stopped in today because my glasses had become loose and one of the nose pads had broken. I get my eyes checked there once a year. Without any wait, they replaced both nose pads and tightened upand adjusted the frame so it won't fall off my face when I lean forward. When I asked how much I owed, they said it was free. It's a pleasure doing business with them. They have great cuttings service.

The only reason I gave a 2 was for Dr. Gee. If I could seperate the exam and the sales part, I would give Dr. Gee a 5 and a 1 for the sales. I paid my bill and while looking at the receipt, I noticed that they added a $40 charge for 1 year insurance on the frames and lenses. I didn't ask for it. It was explained that the system "automatically" adds it on. Huh. I told the guy that I thought that was bad business and to take off the $40. As I thought about it, I told the guy to refund me for everything. I paid my co-pay and left.

I cannot stress how much I appreciated my experience with this Practice. From the beginning of the visit when I walked in & was greeted by the young lady at the desk who also attentively ran the diagnostics and eye tests, to my optometrist who was great, followed by the nice gentlemen who handles the frames and ordering. I had such a pleasant experience & was so pleased with their product selection, I actually ordered 2 pairs of glasses on the spot. I feel like it's becoming more difficult to find places with quality patient care and customer service skills - but I am so grateful that I found these folks! Will definitely be back.

Our go-to optician is Ruth. I recently waited a bit longer just to have her serve me. I always feel confident when working with her to pick new frames and lenses.
