Eye Clinic of Edmonds

I was seen by Dr. Steven Seto since I recently was diagnose with Bell's Palsy and there was some concerns with my right eye. He stands out because he genuinely showed concern and care about the condition. He did not give the impression of doing things rushed (a common denominator amongst most doctors across the board)' he took his time to articualte the condition of my eye and follow up steps. As patient, you always appreciate the level of tailored care towards each patient, it gives you a sense of trust and professionalism and that is what I saw at this clinic.

Zero stars if I could. My family of four has been going there for over 13 years, despite the rudeness of the Front Desk staff. This was the first place, since we moved to Edmonds, that we have experienced a new generation of rude Customer Service, and we have just come to expect it from this eye clinic as it is the only place close by our insurance covers. BUT, we will never go back now... I contracted a horrible virus (further explanation is protected under HIPAA) during international travels. I had an appointment three days upon my return, which I was unable to attend because I was so sick and did not want to spread this virus to other patients or the staff. I called the morning of the appointment to reschedule (and I did attend the new appointment the following week). I did ask if they were completely booked on the day I was sick, thinking they could offer my appointment to somebody else, and they said they had many openings that day. Do you think they appreciated my courteousness? NO! The rude Hispanic girl at the front desk didn't even Informed me of their cancellation policy over the phone. No, they still sent me a bill for $75 for missing the first appointment. Another example, was before my trip I went in to look at frames, and I heard the Hispanic girl yelling at an elderly patient on the phone who did not understand an insurance mixup. I care enough for Fellow Edmonds neighbors not to get you sick by spreading my germs and I care enough to urge you DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO THIS PLACE. They suck.

My sister in law went today for her first exam with this practice. The goal was simply to get a new prescription so she could get glasses. After they completed the exam and had her eyes dilated, they told her they would not be giving her the prescription information unless she paid them $80 cash. It was not covered by the appointment fee. After reading the reviews, I see they have done this to many other people. Shady.

Beware these guys are scam artists if your a senior citizen! My 94 year old mother had called them the day of her appointment to let them know she might be 5-minutes late. The receptionist told here she didn't have an appointment that day. The next day in the mail she received a $75 bill for not showtup for her appointment! She called them and explained what happened and the receptionist hung up on her! They keep sending her the late bill to pay! I told her to go somewhere else as these guys are scam artists!

Horrible place, if you want to be overcharged and then they don't order your glasses after you tell them you have insurance. I sent my son down to have his face measured and they said they haven't even ordered the glasses yet because supposedly they hadn't heard from me. Well, they did hear from me and I did tell them we wanted to order the glasses with our insurance and that is when they said that my son needed to come and get measurements for his face so obviously one person isn't talking to the other upfront. Don't waste your time and money here.

This place is really nice. The front desk seems rude but actually very nice. The technology is amazing. Moving to the back of the office all techs seemed nice and knowledgeable as well. I have also seen both gentleman had good bedside manners. Will go there again.

This is for Dr. Seto. Thank you so much for taking the time to see my husband for his vertigo problems on very short notice, it was very appreciated. We took your advice and had a appointment upstairs at Puget Sound Ear Nose and Throat, they like you were very professional and kind and more than willing to help my husband. Shortly he will be on the road to recovery. This has been very overwhelming but thank you and Dr. Wolfe at Puget Sound ENT again for being kind and compassionate.
