we discovered PNW eye sent us to collections over a $20 co-pay that we had no idea was outstanding. After contacting the collections agency they informed us they were given our address from 9 years prior. A phone call goes a long way to clear up a $20 charge and verify if we are getting notices. When I spoke with the billing gal at the optical office she was argumentative, condescending and rude. I'm understanding people are human and sometimes mistakes made; but an apology would go a long way. Disappointing.

Front desk communication is disappointing. The purpose of my visit was to have my eyes examined as routine for contacts. On arrival and after dilation I was told I would need to seek contact fitting from elsewhere. If the doctor spent more than 3 minute with me (and dare I say before my eyes were fully dilated), I'd be surprised Basically I felt like they're not looking to secure patients and I left with a glasses prescription I don't need and now I'm on the waitlist elsewhere Save yourself time, go somewhere else

I was seen by Dr. Hoon Jung for an eye exam. I felt very awkward with his many comments about surgical procedures and other stuff that I didn't have or need. I had gone for just a simple eye exam because my glasses are like 10 years old. He made me feel so creeped out. On the other hand, I was treated so well by every other staff member. I am truly grateful to the Gig Harbor Staff of Pacific Northwest Eye Associates for treating me with respect and for being so nice and helpful. I do recommend the Gig Harbor branch located so conveniently on the first floor of the Pt Fosdick CHI building. Northwest Eye Associates 5-Stars. Dr. Hoon Jung no stars.

Had a 9AM appointment for a cataract consultation with Dr Jung. I arrived early to fill out the extensive new patient forms...quickly got through them...then waited & waited & waited...45 minutes in total. I understand medical office delays, but to experience a 45 minute delay that early in the day...without anyone coming out and apologizing before or after...smacks of poor patient care. No one even mentioned the delay...thus, for me, the rest of the consultation was colored by this. The exams (which were not free) were probably okay...however the technician performing them, was not particularly good in communicating what was coming next (e.g. bright flash). Dr Jung was okay however I did feel pressured to move on quickly to make another appointment for the procedure when I hadn't even had time to read the various options. I have decided not to return to PNW Eye Associates if I do decide to move ahead with cataract surgery...

I visited the Gig Harbor office last Friday for a regular checkup after cataract surgeries couple of years ago. As expected, I was so satisfied with their professional and kindest services provided by Dr. Jung and his staff members. I strongly recommend him with confidence to anyone who has concerns about eyes. Thank you.

I have seen Optometrist and Opthalmologists all over the Sound, and when I met Dr. Mark Taylor and staff, I was very surprised. I didn't have to wait long, his techs we're efficient, explained each step, and Dr.Taylor was great. The exam was easy, and he spoke to me and listened to me, and explained that I didn't need surgery right away, but maybe in a year or two. I felt relieved, and very pleased. He and his staff are top notch...I would highly recommend him. Way to go!!!!!

I was a patient at Pacific Northwest Eye for 10+ years. I have had great experiences until my appointments this year. They didn't return 3 calls for ordering contacts. Their wait for an eye exam was 6 months. When I finally got my eye exam (which took nearly 2 hours) they had me scheduled for some other procedure, not a glasses/contacts eye exam. Then they gave me a new type of contact lens that didn't fit well, and wouldn't give me any different samples without paying for another appointment. Save yourself the headache and hassle, find a better option. And by the way, a year supply of contacts from 1-800 Contacts is the same price as 3 months from Pacific Northwest Eye. For the exact same brand of contacts.

My experiences at Pacific Northwest Eye Associates have always been positive. They know what they're doing and have always had my best interests in mind. My appointments have been well organized, never with a long wait. I've always left feeling that I've been well treated. My confidence in them allows me to recommend them to anyone in need of eye care.
