I was impressed with Dr. Kim and her knowledge of Optometry. In addition to having perfect people skills she explains everything so I can understand the complete exam. The front desk staff seemed very busy and not as welcoming as I would have preferred and seemed to struggle a little in getting the correct insurance information. Katie, who so wonderfully and thoroughly assisted me in frame selection, made the process informative, detailed and smooth. She is a valued asset. Overall, I am very pleased with the Pearl Vision team and will continue to trust them with my vision care,

The exam was fine. What really irritated me is that when my husband requested a note from the doctor indicating that my son does not have eye issues or dry eye for an accutane prescription, the doctor said they have never provided this and therefore would not. After further phone calls trying to get the letter without success, the dermatologist appointment was a giant waste of time in which I was charged and I now have to reschedule. I then went to your office to request the letter in person and the person at the front desk who I requested the letter from asked if this was for an accutane prescription. So clearly your office has provided this in the past. Please train your doctors on customer service. Even if they have never provided such a letter, I'm not sure what risk there would have been to provide something they confirmed as part of the exam.

I've been going to Dr. Nguyen for many years - she's great! Always has good suggestions to optimize my (very) strong prescription.

I've been a loyal patient at this eye care office for ten years, but after my recent visit, I will not be returning. The doctor's service was fine, but the front desk experience was extremely frustrating. I was incorrectly charged for a contact lens exam, even though my insurance covers it. When I pointed out that the patient exam form clearly stated a 15% discount should be applied before the $250 allowance for the exam and materials, the staff argued that the allowance only applied to contacts and that insurance wouldn't cover the exam. However, my daughter had the same exam under the same insurance just two weeks ago and wasn't charged (both doctors are in-network). Now, I have to go through a reimbursement process. This inconsistency and unwillingness to acknowledge the policy left me extremely disappointed. Unfortunately, they have lost a long-time loyal customer.

From the minute I walked in the door, I was greeted and she quickly took all my new patient paperwork. The Dr was so friendly and made me feel comfortable. She was very thorough and showed me everything along with an explanation of what I was looking at. They also did not try to upsell me on their prescription readers. Really glad I chose this for my first eye exam in yrs

Dr Nguyen is the best! She has been my family's optician for years and we could not be happier. Her professionalism and knowledge are top tier. Her communication skills are excellent, I always leave my appointment feeling like I've learned something! She is great with kids too, both of my daughters have grown up with Dr. Nguyen and they adore her!

Dr. Crowell is brilliant, skills and knowledge way beyond just needing an eye glasses script. He even explained a eye blemish that a bogus eye doctor in Tacoma selling eye lashes told me could be cancer. Don't trust your eye health to the wrong doctor. This doctor is legit, has done the research and work to provide services well beyond your yearly eye exam.
