My husband broke his glasses as we're on vacation and he needed to get a replacement pair. His prescription had expired so we needed to have him seen. Dr CHON was so kind! She offered to work late and add an appointment to her day to help us. Later she had a cancellation so we were able to grab that appointment.
At the exam she was very professional and thorough. She explained everything and we were able to get an updated prescription and get new glasses.
Dr CHON is a great doctor.

WORST OPTOMETRIST EVER: the doctor personally "doesn't support" Lasik surgery so she refused to do my simple eye exam, its just an eye exam!!! She was rude and condescending about it too. No one told me she was a quack with nonsense beliefs that make her turn patients away after they already show up and fill out paper work. I scheduled this appointment on a monday and came in friday so I wasted a weeks worth of time for this appointment just for her to turn me away because of her personal beliefs, she only half-apologized to me after I came back to ask what my recourse is because she inconvenienced the hell out of me, I live in castle rock so it was a 25 minute drive as well. I'm beyond frustrated and I hate that there's nothing I can do about this, so I felt compelled to leave a review. Please consider giving a better doctor your business.

I came in to the vision center to purchase new glasses. My husband and I were staring at the wall(s) of frames when Olivia asked if she could help us. I appreciated her taking the time to answer all of my (and my husband's) questions. She was very knowledgeable. I was fitted on Thursday and they were ready the following Monday. I got progressive lenses and they are clear and crisp with a two year guarantee. I couldn't be happier. Great experience. I have used Dr. Chong for years and she is the very best. My prescription changed a lot this year and I was a bit skeptical but I trust her and ordered glasses. They only took six days to arrive . I was afraid they would be wonky because my prescription was so different then two years ago and I didn't feel my old glasses were not performing good still....I picked them up and BAM ....I was shocked. I can see like an eagle. I honestly wasn't going to get my eyes checked this time but I follow her directions and did it and I'm so happy I did. I can't believe how great my lenses are and between Dr. Chong and Walmart optical I have never had such sharp vision. Like I said I didn't think my old prescription had run it's course as I felt I still could see excellent but it's possible to improve on greatness and now my new eyewear are above and beyond. Technology gets better year after year and this was my year to have certain vision defects have the technology catch up with what I needed and I'm just as pleased as can be. Thank you Walmart and Dr. Chong.

1st appointment with eye doctor. The exam is reasonable compared to other places in town and the glass frames start at $9.00 on up!!! Can't beat that!
(The general staff that works in Optical is rude, not courteous nor welcoming; based on my experience. You are pretty much ignored ...wow!)
Whenever you want to make your appointment, you call the doctor's cell number, speak with dr. and make your eye exam appointment either in Longview or Vancouver.
Keep in mind, No one greets or meets you so when you arrive for your appointment sit in the waiting area, grab a clipboard with the sheet of paper, fill it out then wait for the doctor.
