Had such a lovely experience with both Tajh and Vincent. They were both caring and competent. They didn't pressure me into buying anything I didn't need or want. They took care of me with genuine smiles and they made my day. I'm very happy with the lenses I got. They even asked for a rush on them, and I got them sooner than expected. Highly recommend Clarus Optical!

I had a very bad experience here at this clinic! They clearly demonstrate impatience listening to patient concerns. I expected them to work with me until I get what works for me but I was wrong. When I returned my glasses because I felt they were too powerful and causing me pain, headache and dizziness with use of more than 30 minutes, their answer was unfortunate; "It takes time to adjust, just keep using." My vision was getting worse with their glasses! I am better off without.

Both times I ordered lenses here they used high pressure to upsell me to the highest, most expensive options possible that my insurance didn't cover. They do not bill insurance, so I had to pay all in advance only to find out two month later that my insurance would only reimburse me for half of what Clarus insisted I needed. I have now just gone to another optical store that does not upsell, bills directly, and only charges the portion my insurance doesn't cover (my insurance covers 90% of basic lenses).
Edit: Management/owner also gaslights bad responses, such as this. Claiming I haven't visited in several years and must be referring to a different store. A quick call to them showed they were immediately able to pull up all my recent visits and purchases with no problem.

Still trying to get glasses my husband ordered on Mar 29, 2018. On Apr 29, 2018 went to pick up glasses (124 miles r/t). Glasses were wrong. Understood glasses inspected by 15 people at lab, and then by 2 more folks at optical center. Immediately my husband said something is wrong. The optician looked at them and in 10 seconds she immediately saw the problem. Part of the RX had been left off. Were sent back for correction with a "rush".
As of May 11, 2018, we still have no glasses. Optical shop says lab won't return their calls. Glasses have been paid in full. We need these glasses.
