Eye MDs of Puget Sound

Went to Dr. Castillo for his opinion on glaucoma and to evaluate my situation. He was thorough in his examination and clear proposed treatment and I've happily stayed with him. Excellent, professional, and highly experienced. And I love his staff!!

Dr. Castillo is excellent! He treats my son so well with a balance of professionalism, respect, and the understanding that my kid is still a teenager and will do teenage things. He's shown great care about my son's eyes, both now and for the future. He jokes around with him, and has been able to stress the importance of his meds without terrifying him. The receptionist at the Oly location is fantastic and remembered us even after a year or so. They have been so important in saving my son's sight. Deeply grateful!

I've used these people for 3 years now. And for the most part, the service is really good. The doctors are compassionate and pay attention, which is vital. I would recommend that anyone that goes to any doctor for any reason whatsoever to ask questions. And if you don't get the answers you're looking for ask again, and if they're not willing to answer the questions, go somewhere else it's your body, it's your life and you need to take charge of it. I'm saying this as a medical professional, retired from that profession.

Dr. Castillo is a great doctor. I wish he was my personal physician. He's very straightforward and very caring. I have had a retina, reattachment and now developing cataracts. Has told me to wait on the cataracts till I feel I need them repaired .Not rushing me at all.

I am happy to give a well deserved rave review to Dr. Giessler and the entire staff at Eye MDs of Puget Sound. The doctor is caring and competent . . .(brilliant!) and his assistant, Kevin, is just as gracious and professional as anyone can be. I have been treated exceptionally well by everyone at this location, including the receptionist. I have not been left ignored and waiting as happens sometimes in a busy practice; not once. I have had about 5 appointments here and they have been consistently terrific! Today was the first time I took my mom who's 87 years old and English is her second language to this office. It was the worst experience of our life! We came early and filled out the paperwork. Waited half an hour to get in which was fine. What really makes the experience a horrid one was by the technician by the name of Jess. She was rude, unprofessional, impatience, and condescending to my mom especially. She took us back to the exam room and I came along to translate for my mom. When she asked my mom to do a certain procedure I'd try to translate and she would talk over us. My mom is 87 and it takes her a bit of time to understand and Jess was irritable throughout the whole exam. Her manners were extremely rude and I finally had to tell her to have patience with my mom and give me time to explain it to her. The doctor himself was ok but definitely not warm or friendly. We will NEVER come back to this office. Please avoid this place!

This place is horrible they stiling your money plus they no proffesional at all. Plus Dr Castillo and hes staff are trashi he give to me in five visits examples of drops to put on my eyes the cause me allergies and irritation. I feel the he cause more damage at my eyes. Also very inrespecful againts my husband..please be careful to go ovethere if you have symptoms of Drye Eyes this is no the place to go because they dont have any clue about how treat that decease. They only care about stilling your money and no be honest with patients.. I am planning to make a very serios complaint against this place.. Also when you complaint about the treatment he ask if you have pictures about it?? the when your medication cause allergies he is so stupid and ridiculous because I dont need to invented nothing like that. I regret the Dr Castillo and there staff even touch me. Avoid to go there because they so negligence.

I was very impressed with the professionalism and friendliness here. I had never seen an Ophthalmologist before, so was unsure what to expect, but I never felt uncomfortable and was well informed at all times. The office was easy to find, great parking, and had a very small wait which was surprising since I had only received the appointment the day before. All in all, Dr. Geissler will be my 'go to' for anything having to do with my eyes from now on! Thank you so very much!
