I have had glasses since I was 18 months old. I have seen some of the best eye doctors in the country and experienced groundbreaking eye surgeries back in the early 80's. A very large portion of my life has been spent in offices/clinics, trying to make sure I don't go blind. This office may not be for everyone, judging by some of the "reviews" but I promise you, they are excellent at what they do, and yes, I definitely would know. I was transported back to my childhood when I stepped into the office. Im sure an older aesthetic isn't for everyone but what matters most to me are not shiny and new things, its knowledge, talent, skill, honesty and integrity. They provide it all. We were overcharged at every other eye place, for much less, both with regard to the cost of frames /lenses as well as, for real QUALITY eye exams. The Dr and his staff are a breath of fresh, nostalgic air. If shiny and new, while being overcharged and not examined correctly are your thing, they may not be for you. However, if you have been in the ophthalmology game for as long or longer than I have, you will totally get it, and you will love it here!

It's a good clinic. Just a bit unorganized. I was impressed that they checked some things my old eye doctor neglected, such as ocular pressure. I also was impressed by the knowledge of the staff. My only critique is that I haven't gotten a sample of my new contact lens yet. It's been probably a month, although I'm not in a rush.

Kinda shocked by some of the reviews for this place. Someone wearing a Sleeveless shirt and dried out plants?! Those aren't real reasons to me to give bad reviews for an optometrist. Weird. Anyway. I've been going here for years and love them. Professional and warm. Always helpful when picking frames.

Appt was at 10 am. Didn't get seen til 1040. By the way it's an optometry clinic so I would have to say that the reason we were there were to get our eyes checked and to get eyeglasses... it's only obvious, but not to the front desk receptionist. Mental note: the previous customer made a mess of the glasses at the counter so this was the area we were looking at for glasses. the lady receptionist came by and said are you guys just "fooling around" or looking around. Like hello it's an optometry clinic. Contacts and glasses are an option so if I'm not looking at glasses then why am I there ? Rude remark. The lady in the back (not reception) dressed in a sleeveless top. This world is going to the sewer. Nobody cares about appearance or customer service. The back was a mess filled with boxes, papers, and chaos. Don't go to an optometrist and look for glasses it only causes "confusion" Hope to never return here.

I had a great first experience here. A little bit cluttered with papers and old promo things but it's like going to a old grandparents house. It was welcoming, homely, and very knowledgeable. The Optometrist has been doing this for a little over 50 years and was very quick and efficient with his know-how. The staff was also very knowledgeable and kind. I haven't been to a eye doctor in almost 3 years and this was the first time I felt taken care of. Defiantly recommend.

I've seen the bad comments , but they are wrong. yes they have a lot of papers but far from cluttered. everything has a place. it reminds me of a REAL optometrist! I love it here only took 3 weeks to get my glasses. The doctor was nice and let me voice my worries! the couple is very lovely and sweet , if your looking for a real optometrist that is patient and sweet and caring go here! period!! love the vibe here. very homey!

Took a few times to actually make my appointment as the doctor had was not feeling well so one trip was wasted. The place is absolutely filthy seems like they have not dusted since they opened! Doctor was super awkward not explaining anything he was doing. Barely said two sentences to me through the entire appointment. Staff was ok. Simply would not go back just because of how disorganized and dusty the place was.
