New building is nice but waiting 2 hours once you get there is unacceptable. They could take one less patient per Dr. in the mornings and the poor receptionist wouldn't have to constantly answer the question "Have you forgotten me?" Don't get me wrong, the care is great but they need to work on their scheduling because most elderly people can't wait 2 hours to finally get in to see the Dr. I used to schedule for surgeries and it's not rocket science. A patient's rights are being ignored here. If the average wait time is 2-3 hours (that's right folks, 2-3 hours, they will tell you) then the schedule should take that into account and not make us wait. If you can, go somewhere else and check their wait times. My husband is going to need surgery but we've decided not to come here anymore. We will gladly travel to be 'seen' quicker. 5 people now have gone to the receptionist and one canceled and left. Be warned folks. You will wait. Also, it seems to be problem in that people aren't getting their same Dr's. They rotate Dr's. You really have to make sure you are seeing the Dr you want.

I checked into Sound Retina and was greeted by Lisa who cared about my information, was promptly assessed by Lilly & Dennis, then went for pics with Allen and then ultimately evaluated by Dr Asano and Molly. From start to finish, my care was managed with kindness, respect and care to my vision and the integrity of my eyes. I am confident the health of my eyes and vision were served with excellence by all and will refer anyone to Sound Retina. Thank you all for treating me with the utmost care!

Today Jay M. Haynie saw me on an emergent request and I am so pleased to be seen by someone who cared about my big concerns and my fears. He also diagnosed my issue quickly and assured me to come back should I have any more issues. I was seen quickly, turnaround time was relatively quick, a lot faster than I had been told to anticipate. The staff were kind and good and very helpful. Front desk, back office and medical team all excellent! I truly appreciate the staff and the experience.

Very pleased with Dr. Asano and Dr. Nelson. I had a retinal bleed and they were excellent as far as treating me. I'm so happy that I was referred to them.

My wife is seeing Dr. Asano for her eye condition. The staff is always professional, and courteous. Details are all discussed thoroughly so that we are apart every decision that is made.

Id like to add that I have been going to them for 8 years due to retinal detachment. There are times that you show up to the office for a apt spot and a emergency surgery patient comes in which can cause your wait time to change. They are all wonderful Eye doctors that want the best for their patients. I myself was a emergency surgery patient. Unfortunately they can't promise that individual health certain health problems guarantee your vision a permanent fix. Certain pathologies can't be helped. I feel that they care about their patients enough to give you their time adequately enough. If you suffer from eye problems, you know how important that is.

12/18/2024 - This is THE most disorganized medical/ ryr business! They actually tell people that it can take 2-3 hours from the time of your appt time. I came early hoping i might be seen on time, but no now it is 25 min pat my appt time. I was not here for a general exam. I was to get a procedure, and should have been seen by now. This business is so mismanaged and sadly one of the few of this type in this area. So sad that customer service meanes nothing here.

Went in bc of a referral to get my eyes checked. While I was getting my eyes dilated I experienced vasovagal syncope and felt like I was going to pass out. But Jessie and Kennedy acted quickly and kindly and took great care of me. Dr. Haynie checked in on me and was also very kind and eventually proceeded with my examination. Everyone from the receptionist to the nice lady who scanned my eyes were lovely. If I ever need to go to an eye doctor again I'll definitely return here.
