Wonderful eye clinic. Easy to get to and parking right in front. Great staff. Dr.Binstock was prompt, professional and friendly. He reviewed my eye exam and explained all the tests and what they showed. Excellent selection of current glasses. Susan picked some fashionable frames for me to try. I got sunglasses also! Susan does my progressive lenses perfectly no adjustment time! I highly recommend this eye clinic.

We saw Dr. Skyles for an Infant Eye Screening through the InfantSEE program. It was a free visit and didn't matter that we were out of network. All of the people we spoke/worked with, from booking through the appointment were friendly, accommodating, and wonderful. Dr. Skyles was so patient when my babe was looking around everywhere and knew exactly how to handle it. I would highly recommend Redmond Eye Clinic and Dr. Skyles!

Dr. Binstock and Dr. Skyles are the best! Not only are they professionals who are experts in their field, but they are kind people who truly care about the well being of their patients. I have keratoconus which is a progressive eye condition where the corneas steepen causing blurriness, glare, and distorted vision. I am so grateful to be able to see clearly and enjoy life because of Dr. Binstock taking time to work with me to get the right lenses (scleral) with the right fit. When Dr. Binstock moved his practice 30+ miles away from where I am located, there was no question in my mind that I would remain a patient. Dr. Binstock, Dr. Skyles, and their friendly staff have gone above and beyond to help with drive times, etc. such as scheduling our appointments when there is less traffic or mailing things if possible. Recently, I woke up with a swollen eye and could not drive. Dr. Skyles did a TeleHealth visit with me. It was such a relief to be able to get her diagnosis and expert advice. I also appreciate that Dr. Binstock and Dr. Skyles have the most up to date equipment and use the latest technology. They are knowledgeable about the latest research and my son will now benefit from that as he is getting a pair of myopia glasses to help slow the progression of his myopia. My family has been seeing Dr Binstock for many years. He's shepherded us through myopia control for my children and age-related sight changes for my husband and I. The staff at the clinic are amazing - very gracious and patient. I highly recommend the practice

Incredible experience. I won't lie, I initially judged the place as focused only on frames, lenses, and contacts, based on their external appearance. However, I saw Dr. Binstock for an emergency appointment and that completely changed my perception. Not only was he professional, he was thorough and, in addition to providing a correct diagnosis, made sure I understood the issue and the treatment. Big plus for the ease of scheduling a last minute appointment too, of course. Would recommend Dr. Binstock and this clinic to anyone!

There are two major issues with Redmond Eye Clinic, billing and pushy opticians. Billing: In September, I visited Redmond Eye Clinic for an eye health matter. The first bill I received came in mid January, the bill stated that the was 60 days overdue. I paid the bill promptly upon receiving it. A week later a second bill came stating that the bill was now 90 days overdue. One more week later, I received a letter from a debt collection agency for this visit. When I called the clinic to ask if they had a billing system issue, they said no. They checked their files and they stated that one of the previous bills was returned to them. I asked for more details on why it went to collections within a span of 2 weeks, the receptionists response was only that "our billing person is remote, so I don't know why that happened", which is not reassuring or helpful. I don't care where your billing person is located, it's not relevant to how or why you screwed up billing me. My address has not changed since the visit, and they were able to send me invoices subsequently and to the debt collector. Redmond Eye Clinic has my phone number and could have called or texted when the first bill was returned but they did not. Opticians: Depending on who you get as your optician they will try to upsell you into the most expensive lenses possible. One time they sent me to the optician as my eyes were dilating. The optician picked lenses for me that would have cost $700, where as my normal lenses are around $200. I asked what the difference was and the optician barely rotated her screen to show me the quote, that I could not read because 1) my eyes were dilated and 2) she couldn't/didn't rotate her screen far enough for me to see even if my eyes weren't dilated. This wasn't an isolated incident, other opticians have tried to add various add ons with little to no explanation to drive up the cost of the lenses. It must be in their training or incentive structure to try to get patients to purchase the most expensive lenses regardless of need. EDIT: I have since spoken with one of the owners of the clinic and they have apologized and explained what happened with the billing. From their perspective they sent me two emailed bills (which I never received) and then sent three paper bills, the first of which was returned, the second two were sent a week apart. It is still not clear to me why the two bills and collections notice were sent in such quick succession or why I was never contacted about the returned bill.
