Briarwood Vision Center

My first experience at briarwood vision center, and I won't go back. Nothing horrible, but the optometrist I saw had kind of an intense and rushed energy, which I didn't love. After receiving my glasses, it became apparent that the corrective areas were on the wrong spot on the lenses. When i took them back in, I commented that they had never actually put the glasses on me to find out where I looked through it, as has been done with my first prescription. The woman up front denied all responsibility, never apologized or acknowledged that I am out glasses for weeks, and out the time it takes me to bring them back in and then pick them up. The error is acceptable. The unwillingness to take responsibility or apologize is a deal breaker.

Great staff, wonderful doctor, and fantastic selection of glasses! We had a great experience with Briarwood Vision Center, they are super accomodating! I lost my son's prescription and was planning on coming in to get it- but Robin emailed it right over to me within a matter of minutes- what a lifesaver! Thanks so much!

The appointment was fine - unfortunately this practice decides to charge an additional fee to provide you facial measurements for glasses, as to defend against the dubious world of buying glasses from anyone else, according to the person at the main desk. Stalwart defenders of the face, or just a hack business practice? Not something I've ever encountered before, just scummy. It's $20 to get your measurements, which isn't much, but the principle here is just incredibly frustrating. I won't be back.

All of my kids have been going to Briarwood for almost 3 years now and they enjoy going and trying on different looks. They also enjoy the easily explained procedures and results from the tests. The doctors are a joy and they make the procedures run by smoothly.

Appointment was straight forward and quick! Everyone was very friendly; they took time to answer any questions/concerns that came up for me. After moving to Renton, it was nice to find this place only 5 min from my home! Will be back again!

Due to my own mistake, my reading glasses were damaged while in my pocket. I noticed problem at the nearby produce/meat store. I walked over to the Briarwood Vision Center. Although glasses were not purchased there, 5 mins later my glasses were fixed - at no charge!! Certainly worthwhile to give these folks a chance since provided excellent service.
