incredibly kind staff! doc explained the imaging and test results in a clear manner. front desk staff helped adjust the size of my old glasses to fit my head better and guided me through the glasses ordering process. overall energy was overwhelmingly positive & i will be returning!

I needed an eye exam and called seven different optometrists. Occhio Optometry had availability the following Monday, and when another patient canceled, they kindly offered me the newly opened same-day appointment, which allowed me to be seen today. From the very first phone call, I was spoken to with warmth and care, which immediately stood out. When I arrived, Anna and Ash greeted me with such kindness, humor, and genuine friendliness--it instantly put me at ease. The pre-checkup with Jared was outstanding. He guided me through everything--from walking into the room to each test and scan--with clarity and patience. His instructions were so clear and reassuring that I felt genuinely impressed by how smoothly everything flowed. It never felt rushed or confusing; I always knew exactly what was happening and why. Then I met Dr. Michael, and what a great experience that was. He is knowledgeable, thorough, thoughtful, and incredibly easy to talk to. He took the time to explain things clearly and made the entire exam feel comfortable and human. You can tell he truly knows his craft and cares about his patients. After the exam, Anna walked me through the pricing of different glasses and lenses and gave me a clear, honest breakdown. She even recommended a frame I hadn't noticed--one that suited me much better than the one I initially picked. What stood out most was that there was zero pressure to buy glasses there. They explained the quality differences between their lenses and frames versus others, answered my questions transparently, and ultimately left the decision entirely up to me--without ever making me feel uneasy. I walked out feeling confident, informed, and genuinely grateful. I've found the place I'll be coming back to for my eye care, and I'll absolutely be recommending Occhio Optometry to friends and family. A wonderful experience from start to finish.

I don't normally leave negative reviews, but felt like I had to warn future customers.This center is manipulative. Yesterday I called (Jared helped me out) to confirm my contact lens exam and ask if the exam was fully covered by insurance (they pulled up my insurance information). They told me "yes", I asked if there was an extra fee and they said "no". Today, I went in for my appointment and while filling out my paperwork there was a page talking about an extra fee ($100-200) for a contact lens exam. I chatted with an employee who now told me I had to pay out of pocket. They were rude, took no time to explain, and threatened to cancel. I walked out of principal. I am upset that they had a page about extra fees and did not mention it when I called and stole the opportunity for me to shop around and compare different options. Slimy business. I've also worked in clinic front desks (and delt with people asking about insurance and money questions) and I get the difficulties of the job -- I try to be the customer I wouldn't mind working with (and a little gracious towards the staff). When you don't know the answer it is alright to say "I don't know, can I call back later with an answer?"Another acceptable answer would've been to read the page that they tried to get me to sign and tell me what codes they would've billed insurance when I first asked about insurance and coverage.

Everyone is so kind and attentive! I don't feel rushed and I feel like they truly care about me and my family. I appreciate their bedside manner and their empathy!! Thoroughly enjoy going here!

Great customer service. They see my whole family and are the best! So thankful we have a well reputable location close to home!

Very poor service. I went for my eye checkup and I was made to wait for more than 2 weeks to get my trial lens. Whenever I called them they hung up on me and had to make multiple calls. The trials were not great and again I had to wait. Finally I gave up and went to a different place and got my contacts soon

Two incompetent experiences. We won't be back. First, booked two back to back appointments online. Both were approved. A few days later they leave a VM saying they canceled my appointment so they could all have a lunch. Not offered a different time just told to call back. Second, adult daughter went in for appointment. Was told they don't take our insurance. I had checked and they came up as a provider and we have been theee before. But, no, told my daughter that's her medical insurance (it's not) and made no effort to work it out. Just told her she had to pay out of pocket. I just expect a little teensy bit more effort. She had our vision insurance card and a screenshot showing said insurance shows Occhio as a provider but they didn't make an effort to confirm. Just told her that's medical insurance and she would have to pay out of pocket. Disappointed in their lack of competency for sure.

I had a fantastic experience at Occhio Optometry! This morning, I broke my glasses and was in a rush to get to work. Luckily, I remembered that a friend recommended this place. I walked in, hoping for a quick repair, and the staff were incredibly nice! They simply asked for my phone number and called me to pick up my glasses after just under an hour. Best of all, they repaired them for free! This service is a lifesaver for anyone needing emergency fixes on glasses. Huge thanks to the team for their amazing help! Highly recommend!
