America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

Jasmine was absolutely amazing we tried on several different lenses and decided on one. She had patience and kindness and professionalism to make sure that I had the best look for me as possible. I have come here before and I will continue to again Jasmine was absolutely amazing. Today as I came in to pick up my glasses I was met at the front door by Andrea she was absolutely Pleasant and professional and wonderful she said if I didn't want to wait she would help me out and she did. The entire staff is dressed in Christmas here and I absolutely love it thank you so much American best yet.

I scheduled my appointment early and I was greeted and checked in right away, I got to see some frames and was called in with the optometric technician, she was kind & patient, I appreciate the way she explained the process ( it's been 3 to 4 years since I've gotten my eyes checked) after that the optometrist called me in, she made me feel comfortable and allowed me to Repeat some of the test she was doing, I felt taken care of. The variety of frames is amazing, a lot of good options to choose from. Raquel has a warm smile and Elizabeth which was my technician to check out was so knowledgeable and patient, I did not feel rush to select the frames I wanted and explained the process, I understand better when things are explained slower . Prices are really good here , I've already recommended my friends and family to come here.

No stars if possible. Went in for an appointment at 12pm got out at 2:30 pm. Little did I know that was going to foreshadow the long wait to get contact lenses and glasses. I was recommended by the doctor to get a contact lense training class as it has been a long time without wearing contact lenses, I decide to listen to her as she is the doctor. (Worst Idea!) I was told they would arrive by January 6 and that they would call me. January 6 came and no phone call so I called on Jan 8 to check up on them. They said they had been delayed and they would call me when they arrived. Never received a phone call so I called on Jan. 28. They said they had arrived but I couldn't get them as I had to do the training class. I told her is there anyway to not do it as I had worn contact lenses before she said I couldn't bypass the training as it was suggested by the doctor. We schedule an appointment for February 7. February 7 comes and I have to call them to check what time my appointment will be as I had forgotten. I am then told that they have to cancel the appointment as the doctor is not in today. WORST PLACE!!! Grateful they took my insurance but hate that they have no remorse on how long they have been taking and simply don't care. I can't even purchase my glasses as I was hoping to get the promotion on getting contact lenses there would be a 40% discount on my glasses frame but I can't get that discount until I received the CONTACT LENSES. I am so upset with their customer service and delay.

I went in two weeks ago with a missing glasses lens and a desire to have contacts. I was in and out quickly with a new prescription for my glasses(frames sent for new lenses) and a set of monthly contacts to test. Today was my follow up for the contacts and although they were rather busy, I was still in and out relatively fast, with an official contact prescription and an order set to come to my home. Jasmine has helped me both times, she is very friendly and helpful!

I recently moved to West Seattle and needed a new glasses/contact lens exam. That part was smooth and they even ordered me some trial contact lenses to try. They never called me to tell me the samples arrived. They booked me a follow up but never explained exactly why, only to see if I liked them. I had to cancel the appointment due to a last minute work conflict but they never told me that without completing the follow up appointment, that America's Best would hold my contact lens prescription hostage. They also failed to say that I should save one of the samples for the follow up exam. Now they have to reorder more samples and I have to wait 2 more weeks to be seen by somebody. If I knew I would not get my CL RX without this follow up, I would have rescheduled right away.

The staff was extremely helpful. The optometrist, Lauren Ly, seemed to truly care about her patients/job. Great communication, friendly, and actually cared, answered all questions. Longer than usual wait as they seemed to randomly get busy.

First experience at this place my kid was seen, tested and sent out in 30 minutes. Fast service? Ok. However, when we went to pick up her glasses after a 2 week wait they were completely wrong. So wrong that it wasn't her second or third option selection. After another 2 week wait her prescription was completely off. Their solution was for her to wait 6-8 weeks for her eyes to adjust. After weeks of headaches we went back to get her rechecked. Sure enough the prescription was wrong. They took her glasses from her and she has to wait another 3 weeks for a new pair. The only saving grace is that we have her old pair from her past eye doctor. I would give this place zero stars. Never going back again.

The Westwood location was amazing. Got there. Checked in and was taken right back for my eye checkup and then right to the doctor. Got everything done in and out contacts and glasses within 30 minutes. Would definitely recommend this to anybody who was looking for a quick experience. The staff is all very nice as well.
