I trusted this man. I put my life in his hands, literally. I am 43 and have 7 kids. My diagnosis was sudden and I did what he said. I allowed him to remove my right eye and attach an implant to my extraocular muscles. He swore it would be great and i would heal within weeks. When i complained of pain, he suggested pain management. I begged him to remove the implant as i was having life threatening symptoms. I was getting worse, not better. 5 months of begging and pleading and I ended up in the Bascom Eye Emergency Room in Florida. I had to travel the country to get help from what he did to hurt me. I finally was able to have someone else remove the implant and it was not attached to anything. It had been compressing my optic nerve for all that time. All of my immune responses, swelling, bp spikes, kidney pain, lymph nodes enlarged, skin flaking off my legs...all resolved. Now I have a permanent headache. The vision in my remaining eye from perfect now suddenly has astigmatism and nearsightedness. I am relieved to be alive but now I have to start at the beginning and have more surgeries. The entire time Dr.Stacey insisted it had nothing to do with my eye and despite begging and pleading refused to treat the problem. Now the doctors confirm my body reacted to the foreign body and still nothing from Dr.Stacey. I genuinely don't understand why he did this to me. I am hurt physically, financially, emotionally. And all he had to do was trust me to decide about my own care.

Our family was so blessed to have been connected with Dr. Stacey! When I found out that my father-in-law needed an eye specialist, and after we were referred to Dr. Stacey, we have been absolutely blown away at his expertise! I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone in need of an eye specialist! God bless him and his staff!

My name is Beth. Yesterday, Dr. Stacey and his entire staff gave me the best care to remove a mass on my right eye. (I'm not the easiest patient to work with under twilight sedation) my apologies to them all! This team and every other team at Harborview is amazing and kind. I wish for nothing but the best for he and his entire staff. If you are looking for an eye doctor & are nervous (it's understandable). In my opinion you would & should be treated at this eye institute over any other.

I've never had him as a doctor but I know him personally. And I have to say he's a pretty epic guy 5 out of 5 and he's pretty cool.
