Davis Optical

I hadn't had great experiences with optical stores before, but Davis Optical seriously raised my standards. I came in with my ISHIP insurance hoping to get a pair of glasses, and Laura and Lily were super helpful in explaining my benefits and the things I can get for free based on my insurance. They were very transparent about the costs and discounts, which I really appreciate. I also had a pleasant experience during the eye exam. You can tell the staff genuinely care about their customers, and that's honestly the best thing about this place. Just when I thought the experience couldn't get any better, they told me my prescription glasses would be ready in just 30 minutes. I was so surprised, I didn't expect them to be ready that fast! The last time I ordered the same prescription power at another place on the Ave, I had to wait weeks because they didn't have an in-house lab like Davis Optical does. I absolutely LOVE my glasses, the frame options here are great; stylish and affordable. Laura even gave me a boba gift card before I left which was such a sweet gesture. Thank you so much for a pleasant experience, I'll be sure to come back again and tell all my friends what a wonderful service this place could offer!

I have to write after an excellent first experience today at Davis Optical. It started with me calling to verify that they could actually make my glasses in a day or two and Lily checked to get me a prompt answer - they could. When I arrived both Lily and Nicole helped me and gave me the time I needed to understand my prescription and we're excellent at listening to the specifics of the style and materials of my new frames. Their help made the process go more quickly than I've ever experienced elsewhere. Great listening skills! I was provided with a perfect frame and was ready to go with glasses about an hour later. I could not recommend this business more highly!!

This is my second time visiting Davis Optical, and as always, their service was superb! Dr. Wallace was very nice and patient. Lily was the best!! She helped me pick my new glasses. It took me a while to decide which to choose, but she was so patient, friendly, and accommodating. I ended up choosing a frame that made me the happiest, but it touched my cheeks a little bit when I smiled. I thought I had to pick another one, but Lily thought of adding silicone on the nose pads, and it worked! We also went back the following day to have my son's eyes checked and to pick up my new glasses. Dr. Wallace made him so comfortable, and that's really important to us. We ended up getting sunglasses for him, too. He just had the best time! I highly recommend Davis Optical, especially to UW students! I would give them 6 stars if I could.

I came to Davis Optical today to get updated single vision glasses in a new frames, specifically looking for smaller glasses. The choices were great and the staff was helpful in a supportive way-- not too fussy and then all in on the selection process. My glasses were ready in thirty minutes! I'm extremely happy with my glasses and the visit. Thank you Davis Optical!

Came in to get two pairs of glasses explaining I could only afford to pay for the cheapest repair and was delighted that repairs were free! Extremely friendly staff and very quick service. Cant recommend enough!

WOW. Great people + lenses ground on site - often same day + standard prescriptions for $99 for most frames. Much faster than and competitive w C*****. Frame selection isn't their strong suit, but everything rates a 10.

We had an amazing experience at Davis Optical! My boyfriend lost his glasses while kayaking, and we were in desperate need of a new pair--fast. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They understood our situation right away and helped us get a new pair of glasses within just one hour! We're so grateful for their warm service and efficiency. Highly recommend this place to anyone who needs glasses quickly or just wants to be treated with genuine care!

I got my glasses online and it has been a headache for me wearing it and feeling dizzy. They gave me a nice adjustments, checking it carefully, patiently asking me how I feel after changes. Now I can see clearly and no longer feel dizzy! Will recommend their service going above and beyond - thanks a ton!
