Dr. Thomas G. Mulligan, MD

After reading many glowing reviews of Clearview Eye & Laser, Dr. Mulligan and the other doctors there I booked an appointment. All of the doctors seemed to have favorable reviews so I took the first one available with Dr. Mulligan. While I was finally seen a half hour past my scheduled time, the admin was friendly and the assistant, Evan, was great. Finally Dr. Mulligan came in. He said nothing to me throughout the appointment, and asked no questions about my vision or otherwise at all. He walked in the door and verified my name. That was it until he finished the "exam", within a few minutes, and said, "Here's your new prescription." It was the most cursory exam I have ever had. My eyes were never dilated. He looked in my eyes with a light and then handed me the prescription. I had to ask follow-up questions like, "has my vision changed?" "A little" he replied. With more questioning he said there was more in one eye but not much. I had to ask which one. I have strong astigmatism in my eyes. My previous doctors typically repeat some of the tests that the assistant does in the initial exam and then some...UNDER DILATION! Often (almost always) the doctor has noticed subtle differences that aren't observed in the initial exam. I was so stunned at his behavior, curtness and brevity of the exam that I didn't even think about how many missteps had happened. The Dr. Mulligan I saw seems so different from the one I read about who is so personable and thorough. Perhaps he had experienced some trauma earlier that day because he seemed like he was in a fog or something. **I would give Dr. Mulligan only one star, but leaving two because of the admin and Evan were positive.

Dr. Mulligan and his team are the BEST. Such an efficiently run practice with top-notch service. Recently had cataract surgery on both eyes and it was a breeze with a perfect outcome.

Dr. Mulligan and his team were great. They were able to get me a next day appointment when I was suffering with eye pain that was keeping me up at night, causing blurred vision, and worrying me. Dr. Mulligan did a thorough exam, confidently and patiently assured me that I was ok, and then gently plucked a sliver out of the cornea of my eye. He was professional, but very personable and I will use Dr. Mulligan as referral in the future.

There is no one more professional than Dr. Mulligan. Every time I go there he makes me feel informed and has the most up to date equipment. His staff is so courteous and professional. Not only does he receive the highest rating from me in the world of health care, he receives the highest rating of any business I know.

Also thank you for all of the follow up patient examinations, I have had under your care. Fantastic MD. I had an eye problem while travelling and he expertly took care of it with a diagnosis and a quick procedure to remove something from my eye. After several days of misery, 24 hours later I am pain free. :) All for an extremely reasonable and transparent fee. He and his team are awesome and the facility is amazing too. Highly recommend.

Dr. Thomas Mulligan is AWESOME. He is very thorough. One of the best Ophthalmologist I have ever been to. He is very caring and precise. Thank you for your excellent care and kindness. I am lucky to have you as my eye doctor.

His staff was efficient. Dr. Mulligan indicated a slight change to my left eye and my right eye with the macular hole was as good as could be expected. He understood I wish it was better, but was happy with the results from surgery several years ago.
