I had cataract surgery and also upper and lower eyelid surgery. Both experiences were excellent in every way. In each case, the nursing staff members were extremely competent, helpful, and friendly. Both surgeries were on time and carefully coordinated, which helps patients to feel comfortable and well cared for. Dr. Le (cataract surgery) and Dr Copperman (eyelid surgery) explained the procedures in depth, answered questions, were personable, and contacted me following surgery to determine how I was doing. Follow-up appointments were also scheduled. Their surgical skill, personable responses, and support contributed greatly to my overall progress. I highly recommend Dr. Le and Dr. Copperman at Eye Associates Northwest. They are excellent!

I arrived a few minutes ahead of my check in time and the place was full of patients. However, I was still greeted with a smile and eye contact. Very shortly thereafter, I was taken in for the eye drops to prepare for the laser treatment. Once again a smile and eye contact by the assistant who put the drops in and explained what each was for. I was taken back into the lobby for a brief wait while the drops took effect. Then it was time for the procedure which was done in a very few short minutes. I was told it would be very quick, I was surprised that it was THAT quick! During the drive home I already noticed a much improved clarity in that eye. I'm very thankful for all that was done.

Dr. Lam is the best scleral lens doctor in town. She is thorough and works with you to get just the right fit and the right contact for you. The staff is always pleasant and helpful both in person and on the phone. I feel very fortunate to have been referred to this office for my complex eye issues.

I was very happy with my experience at Eye Associates NW in Ballard. I was hesitant to have cataract surgery and in the end it has made a great difference in my vision. They knew I was anxious and they helped me feel comfortable. Dr Cardinale did a great job and my healing was successful. If I would change anything it would be to not wait three months in between right eye and left eye surgery. That was my choice because of my needs.

Eye Associates Northwest are incredible. I was nervous about having Cataract Surgery. They made sure I was confident and educated about the procedure. They were all patient and caring. I highly recommend this team for any of your eye needs and would use them again in a heartbeat. I know my 2nd eye that is coming up in March will be exactly the same based on my experience with my first eye. Matthew Cardinale was excellent. Thank you for all you did to make my experience a positive one. And day 1 after surgery I can't believe the difference in my Right eye. Wow. its like night and day.

Entire team is cheerful informed efficient and kind. Some of us remember times of less distance, less stress. Somehow Dr. Copperman and his team, Mackenzie Tristan others show up and responsive. 1 day post op and the colors and brightness are wonderful. I can clearly see again without halos and fuzziness. The people at Eye Associates Northwest were great to work with from initial appointment to follow up everyone was excellent. Pretty efficient and friendly group. Free parking in the garage which was nice. One thing was kinda weird. When I scheduled the surgery I decided to use the fancy lense vs. the standard; obviously these are expensive. When talking to the scheduling coordinator it was my understanding I would be billed for this in a few weeks after. That wasn't accurate. I had to pay 4100 dollars when I checked in. It wasn't a problem for me as I had a credit card with me but I wasn't expecting it. The main reason I've decided to use Clareo, PanOptix, Pro lense is I don't use reading glasses at all. I wanted to be assured that would not change and according to the literature and my doctor that's accurate. It's currently "Day 2" and my left eye is still blurry for up close reading. I'll see the surgeon in a few hours and it's my hope this clears up. One good thing I've noticed colors are more vibrant and clear.
