First time going in today, after spending weeks looking at providers online in the area that cover what I need and their website came across a amazing. It had multiple brands, lenses and technology that was absent once in the office. I have extreme light sensitivity that I've been trying to manage, and other eye issues, so everything I read via website felt like this was the place. All companies have control over what their website copy states, and the website is drastically different than what's offered in person which I hope is immediately corrected to avoid confusion from anyone else. I'm disabled, AuAdHDer with TBI and legally blind in my left eye since infancy, and CPTSD when it comes to eye doctors so I have a lot of anxiety from it. While the staff was really nice with helping with tests, taking care to assist, it started going downhill when I started referencing services/products listed on their website and was met with "We don't control our website content, we've never heard of "X", or we've never carried any of these brands/lenses listed on the website". The DR, was ok but it felt like I was more of an annoyance than anything, but appreciated her taking the time to explain in detail regarding eye health, and clearing up some specific lenses I was looking at wasn't going to work with one eye. I didn't feel I was heard as well as I could have been, and I do have a hard time communicating at times while trying to do my best to express/explain what was going on and what I was looking for. Once I was out of the eye appointment, it was onto different sample lenses which was underwhelming again compared to what the website states should be in stock, and I was having a really hard time finding one from the small offerings of examples that felt it helped. Years back, I had tried on a pair of Oakleys with Prism lenses and it immediately calmed all the sensory issues, I've never felt that before, and while the website showed they carried it, they do not. I was getting overwhelmed, and was suggested to take a look at frames they pointed out were covered/different materials, etc. I was having a panic attack trying to find ones that met the shape I was looking for and didn't put pressure on my head, but couldn't really find one. Nobody came to ask or help while I was managing a panic attack when I approached the front desk again clearly overwhelmed, it felt like they just wanted me out of the office vs providing solutions to find a pair that works for me. I'm disabled, and don't have the ability to easily pursue shops, desperately needing new glasses, and tired to do my due diligence researching stores in network before making this appointment. It came down to that's all they have, and that's that. I do appreciate their time, and genuinely hope it was an off experience, because it's hard walking away from there feeling like nothing was really accomplished. My biggest complaint is the website is egregiously misleading on services, products carried showing a big list of most brands, lenses, services that I feel like is either a genuine mistake (hopefully) or openly misleading marketing to get people in, get tests done and then reveal it's nothing as described via website. Please fix the website as soon as you're able so it's accurate and doesn't cause more confusion on patients end. I don't feel good about the appointment, but would be open establishing myself as a patient should the company decide to reach out for repair/genuine concern about the experience to restore trust.

I started going here because it is local woman business. I will stop going though because they are rude and don't care about accountability. I had an appt that I waited for 25 minutes for. After 15 minutes I asked the receptionists how much longer and they said they don't know. After asking them about this instead of apologizing they gave excuses and were rude to me. I am sure they will say I was rude, but I wasn't rude until they were rude. I am a strong believer in treating others the way they treat you and I have never dealt with a more unprofessional staff or Doctor. Their response was if I didn't want to wait that I could just leave. Obviously they told the doctor when I finally saw her that I was upset and probably made me out to be some horrible person. I spoke to the Dr about the issue and her response was to say that I am no longer welcome as a client. No apology or accountability, just oh you don't like being made to wait for 25 minutes with no explanation or apology? You can F off. Also the entire 25 minutes I was waiting, they were not seeing any patients. The last patient was checking out while I was checking in, so I waited for 25 minutes just because they don't respect other peoples time. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional doctor or front office staff. Don't waste your time, because all they will do is waste yours and act like making someone wait for 30 minutes is acceptable. I told them they could have called me, if they were running late they could have called me and told me that. Why is respecting patients time not important to medical offices at all? If someone is late, we get charged a late fee, when they are late they don't even have the decency to apologize. It's ironic since their name says they Care.

A colleague of mine recommended this place to me over a year ago, as I felt I wasn't getting a thorough enough exam at another West Seattle location. Dr. Chhim is kind, thoughtful, and takes the time to explain her process. I learned things that my previous optometrist never mentioned. And her amazing staff explain what frames are covered under your insurance too! I knew how much I was going to pay upfront and that made the buying process easier. I recently went in last minute, due to concerns that there was something in my eye. Even though she didn't find anything amiss, she didn't make me feel silly for coming in. Said it was likely either dry eye or very, very small debris. Gave me some lubricant drops to help "blink it out". 24 hours later, I finally got the smallest eyelash I've ever seen out! Highly recommend.

Genuinely a great experience. They explained every step, not pushy about extra charges. VERY PROMPT. This has been one of the best eye appointments I've had in a very long time. They don't have a ton of frame selections but the ones they do have are very stylish. The staff and doctor are wonderful and efficient!

I hate writing bad reviews but I had a very similar experience to another reviewer. I am giving this a 2 star because the doctor IS very nice and attentive, however one of the receptionist is TERRIBLE. I also got glasses that were the wrong prescription and when I brought them to the new location the head receptionist was down right rude, confrontational, and off-putting from the start. I think one of the other gals could tell she was giving me a hard time and felt genuinely bad and she took the glasses to check the prescription to make sure it was right. They confirmed that it was what the doctor prescribed and but they never offered any help of how I could correct the situation because I purchased the glasses from a another place. So I refuse to go back. I will just go to Costco for an exam, at the very least I will treated like a human being by the staff.

Knowledgeable doctor with friendly and inviting staff. I took my 6 year old daughter to get her eyes checked as I suspected she was having trouble seeing things far away (as she tends to squint and starts to look a little cross eyed). When we arrived at the office, we had to call the front desk and the front desk staff kindly let us in. I suspect that due to Covid, they are limiting the number of patients in the office. The front desk checked us in and we filled out the necessary paperwork. Shortly after, we were brought to an exam room. I sat near my daughter the entire time. The doctor was friendly and took the time to get my daughter comfortable enough to call out the different shapes, letters, etc. that she saw. We never felt rushed or pressured to purchase anything. She answered all of my questions. By far, one of the best doctor's visits we have had.

My first exam went great, and the glasses I had gotten had lasted me about a year! I had asked for another exam almost a year and a half later as my vision was changing (I had recently given birth and my vision got worse) and I needed a new prescription, I was also hoping to get contacts. I was denied an appointment, they told me they would get back to me about another appointment after asking the dr if he was okay with it (because of the timeline, apparently they don't let anyone come back for an exam if it's 6+ months out, never had this issue before anywhere else), and NEVER got back to me. I also had to repeatedly ask for my glasses prescription over email and the phone, and it took over a month for them to send my prescription to me. Overall, it wasn't a horrible experience, but I felt like I went without during my time in their care. I will NOT be returning, in fear of being rejected of another appointment, for a reason that makes no sense. (Never once have any of my other eye doctors done this and rejected a request at an eye exam/contact lenses fitting). I would not recommend.
