Dr. Periman is brilliant. I sought out help for debilitating dry eye, I went from constantly putting in drops to completely symptom free, it was a miracle. She did a holistic deep dive and not only sorted out my dry eye but steered me in the right direction for a number of concerns that other docs only shrugged at. I am so blessed to live about 3 hours from Dr. Periman. In 2020 I was in misery with dry eye. After my third eye doctor, I was told about Dr. Periman. After my first appointment with her, she had already helped me so much. She cares about you as a whole person. She encourages, informs and educates her patients to be the best they can be. My dry eye specialist in Colorado helped me figure out I have thyroid eye disease. She tried many treatments and eventually ran out of options. She said, if you don't mind traveling Dr Laura Periman is awesome at some treatments we don't offer. I had one session in Seattle and my pain (15 years of it).. was gone. I've traveled a few times now to work in the other symptoms and each time it keeps improving. It was so worth the time and cost to travel to Seattle. My eyes.. they feel so much better!

If you have dry eyes or issues with your eyes, then you know how scary, uncomfortable and expensive it is to manage, deal with and live with. Many of us see countless doctors, try our own remedies or bandaids to fix it or help. My life and quality of life changed after meeting Dr.Periman. I developed dry eyes after LASIK, it was the last thing I could think would happen to me, but it did. And until I met Dr.Periman I was uncomfortable most, if not all days with my dry eyes. She changed my life. And I don't say that lightly, issues with eyes are scary. She created a customized plan that worked, a plan that fit into my lifestyle but most importantly my financial budget. The team is very transparent with costs and very accommodating in providing alternate options in keeping my great results and treatment going. It has been 4 years now and I feel better than ever. A little bit about the team and treatment. It's different from any other dry eye doctor or office you will go to. In a good way. They spend the time, they ask the questions and they learn the root causes and they provide solutions and treatment plans/options. Identifying easy solutions with huge impacts to your eye health. Sometimes bigger ones but always with a plan in mind to get you better. They continue to support me with this as my life evolves and changes. And I'm proud to say I am in a routine checkup and maintain part of my treatment plan. The one big topic. Financials This is a hard one for me as for most people, I have had a lot of life things happening and been on a strict budget and Dr. Periman and her team have always worked with me to build a plan that works within my budget. I also will say, I saw the comment on the pre-authorizations and difficulties with the team. I never have experienced that. Dr. Periman and her team, they go above and beyond. Yes they are out of network. But why? The reason is because it's clear that it's very important for Dr.Periman and her team to listen to you, take care of you and do what they need to do in the office to get you the answers you came there looking for, at least this is my experience. As for prescriptions they always talk to me about manufacture coupons when applicable and the specialized pharmacies that they use that support getting us, their patients the best deals. Sometimes great deals, better than I anticipated. I never write reviews because well, I am just not one of those people. But I wanted to write this one because if you let Dr. Periman and her team support you. I promise you will get clearer answers than you have ever gotten before, you will feel better than you did when you arrived and you will be inspired and empowered to strive for those improvements and results. I have now seen the difference in what it means to find a doctor with passion, curiosity in their field and compassion. You will be lucky if you can get an appointment to see Dr.Periman, she will change your life and your health.

On Friday, Dec. 20, my son experienced an eye injury from a plastic bottle cap. I called Dr. Laura Periman's office at the close of business and left a message--I could not believe it but Dr. Periman called me on my cell, ready and eager to help me, within minutes. She asked for a photograph and information. Next, she determined my son's injury and ordered a prescription to my local pharmacy and sent me instructions. I had medication in my hand in no time. Over the weekend, she checked in with me every day (also asking for updated pics) and gave me additional recommendations. My son is doing so much better and healing! I first started seeing Dr. Laura Periman about 5 years ago. I have never had such a thorough eye exam; I swear she could see into my soul :). She is an amazing doctor, beyond caring and takes her job personally. She listens, makes recommendations and is driven to help patients have the best eye health possible. Dr. Periman is an absolute MIRACLE WORKER! She is one of (if not THE) best doctors I've ever worked with. There is no one with more knowledge about the eyes - especially all things "Dry Eye" related. Her bedside manner makes you feel safe, heard and that "everything is going to be ok." When I came to Dr. Periman, I was at my wits end. I'd seen so many eye doctors but NO ONE could help diagnose my condition and recommend treatment that worked. That all changed when I met Dr. P. She has performed tests, procedures and evaluated everything from diet to stress to supplements and products to provide an integrative plan to help cure me.
