Really nice, kind and knowledgeable people and great service! They were able to slot me in without an appointment as a walk-in when I had issues with my contacts and needed a new prescription. They were attentive when I needed a follow-up eye exam for eye glasses too. I would recommend anyone to go here, they are willing to go the extra step to help you.

Trust the one star reviews and claims of fraudulent and dishonest business practices- Optometry Medical Group has zero integrity and will nickel and dime and manipulate patients for their own financial gain. While my eye exam and interaction with the doctor were pleasant, OMG bait-and-switched my medical provider. On 8/7 I inquired via text who my 8/9 appt was with. OMG texted that I was scheduled with Dr Hollyer, however the invoice for my visit and billing was under Jemimah Corpuz. The provider I saw was neither of these doctors. This further confirms the corruption of OMG and their business practices. The only positive with my experience was that they nailed my eyeglass prescription- it was perfect. However, my dealings with Sean, the manager and the female optician on the other hand, were abhorrent. The optician provided zero professional guidance or support in the frame choosing process. The frames I chose were heavy but 10x heavier with the RX lenses in them. If she were doing her job, she'd have informed me to expect a substantial weight increase because of the prescription lenses. Due to said heaviness, the frames continuously slid off my nose and left deep pressure indentations. I had to adjust and push them up my nose constantly. 4 days after picking up my new glasses, my concerns were brought to the manager, Sean's attention. (Please note that I chose OMG because they were a preferred provider with my insurance, with extended warranty coverage and supposed "no questions asked eyeglass exchange" coverage.) Sean was at best unprofessional, condescending and downright fraudulent with the exchange process- he insisted we not text, rather insisted we speak on the phone regarding the cost of exchanging my frames. (This way his extortion attempts were not in writing.) Sean started the conversation by saying I'd have to pay an additional $450 to exchange my frames, not just the difference in the cost of the frames. After a painful hour long haggle session, we settled on an additional $125 for the exchange plus a 10% restocking fee of $46.50. Having to haggle and negotiate with a medical practice felt violating and disgusting- it was far worse than haggling with a used car salesman! My experience confirmed that OMG acts with zero integrity and they do not care about their patients or OMGs reputation for that matter. They are only in the business of lining their pockets and nickeling & diming the hell out of patients. I feel that OMG is corrupt at its core and I'd strongly suggest staying far, far away from this medical practice. Please take your business elsewhere! I am seeking to find an Optometry group who genuinely cares about their patients; one who conducts their practice with honesty, compassion and integrity. Unfortunately I learned the hard way that OMG has none of these qualities.

I have a specific accommodation for my disability which makes appointments difficult but the entire team here bent over backwards to treat me with kindness and nobody was rude about it. Mari was wonderful. The doctor was very, very kind. They really rolled out the red carpet for possibly the most annoying appointment ever. I'm very grateful.

Making an appointment via text was convenient and I appreciated the option. I received thorough care and was encouraged to ask about anything that concerned me during my appointment. I was pleased that there were public transit options to get to the Madison location.

The team at Optometry Medical Group are wonderful. They are friendly and take the time to answer my questions. The providers are all kind and easy to talk to. When I was searching for new glasses, they took the time to help me decide on the perfect fit, both in style and my budget. I appreciate their text reminders and that they're open on Saturdays. Got my eye exam done here which was great. The prescription they provided didn't have a PD (pupillary distance) measurement which is needed to buy glasses online. When I went back to ask them for this number, they said they would charge me $20 to do so. I went somewhere else that measured it for free. I don't appreciate being nickel and dimed, and I won't be back.

I have a prescription glass worth $1420 just this March , which needs tightening because it has been pressed while in my backpack. Unfortunately their denial to give me my warranties full service is disappointing. Beware Once a transaction is completed, they only care how to squeeze more money by playing the third party game.

Very easy to get started as a new patient. All the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. I am very happy with the quality of care here, would definitely recommend.
