I'm a Ortho-K wearer, and I'm not sure why, but Dr. Qian seems to have a problem in telling me my prescription, and has a history of doing so for other patients too. He seemed quite bothered by me even asking the question and even said I had "problems in the head". He also insisted that I don't actually have a prescription anymore (even though he and I both know that's now how it works). I wouldn't bother trying to deal with him; once you get in you're not gonna get out easily.

The doctor & receptionists are so sweet. I do not wear glasses, but my son was flagged at school for potentially needing them. When the doctor administered his exam, he told me that my son did need glasses and explained his condition to me; he even had a comparison chart to explain what astigmatism makes the world look like. I went in knowing nothing about vision challenges, and the team was non-judgmental and extremely helpful. And, when my son broke his glasses a few months later, they replaced them for free! I seriously cannot say enough good things about this practice. The only downside is that their Provider One frames are a little too big for my 6yo son, but that is really the fault of the State, not of the eye care provider.

I went for a regular eye exam and following the exam, Dr. Qian stated that I was unable to take my prescriptions unless I bought contacts through his practice. I am insured and knew that this was inaccurate, however he grew increasingly irate and stated that if I did not pay for my contacts and bill them through him, I would not be able to leave with my prescription. Feeling extremely pressured, I decided to pay for the contacts and took my prescription. Following this appointment, I contacted my insurance and they informed me that Dr. Qian was incorrect and that I had the right to my prescription through my annual exam, without further purchase. I called back with my insurance provider on the line and Pacific Vision Care Center immediately changed their story and refunded me for the contacts.

This place if awful!!!!!!!! I read reviews on this place and people were saying that he gets aggressive when you want to buy glasses from another place. And that is absolutely true!!!! I said that these glasses didn't work with my facial type and I wanted to buy it at a costco or something but he insisted me on buying them at his placed, or order something that he hadn't had on display at his place. He threatened to make my bill higher than normal and to pay out of pocket and not accept my insurance. This is malpractice or something idk the laws but I'm telling my insurance company about this. This business is gonna have a bad time with me in court or something.

I've never been to any clinic that's this messy and disorganized. Stuff is piled up everywhere, and there is a funny smell in the examine room. Sitting through an examine was not an enjoyable experience.

Simple exam, simple fitting for my glasses and a quick turn around time to pick up my Kate Spade frames! Also, was shocked by the low prices.

I personally had no issues, my insurance covered everything and I found a pair of frames I liked.

The doctor is careful and professional! And price is really reasonable. Strongly recommended
