I absolutely love my eye doctor and the entire team here! Everyone is so kind, patient, and genuinely accommodating to my needs. I often see elderly patients during my visits, and it warms my heart to watch how patient and gentle the staff is with each of them. They recently added a new machine that captures detailed photos of your eyes, allowing the doctor to see beyond what a standard exam can detect. It's incredibly helpful for catching potential underlying issues early, and it really gives me peace of mind about my eye health. The clinic is also exceptionally clean. I always notice how meticulously they wipe down equipment after every patient. The staff consistently wears masks and washes their hands, which makes me feel very safe and cared for. Another huge plus: they are bilingual! If you have parents or family members who need translation or feel more comfortable in another language, this is a wonderful place to bring them. Highly recommend if you're looking for a caring, professional, and attentive team to help keep your eyes healthy!

The team at RVO, from the doctor to the front of office staff to everyone in between, are always amazing. I've been wearing glasses and contacts all of my life and seen quite a few different optometrists over the years and RVO are hands down my favorite. They listen to my specific needs, are willing to work with me to find the best solution, and always make me feel like like a priority.

Highly recommend Rainier Valley Optometric for eye care! The staff is excellent and the doctor is fantastic. My daughter loves her visits there with Dr. Salamanca. It's convenient to order glasses directly from the clinic too

Wonderful experience! I appreciated Dr. Salamanca's knowledge, patience, professionalism and kindness! He was great at explaining everything throughout all stages of my eye exam. Although the office was busy, I never felt rushed. I initially had photos taken by an assistant and he was also terrific. The office staff was friendly and helpful. I'm happy that I discovered Rainier Valley Optometric and will be happy to return.
