America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

While the optometrist herself was kind, the front desk staff and opticians are severely lacking in customer service skills. After my eye exam, I sat and waited for quite some time without acknowledgement. This place has a very chaotic feel like an assembly line. I had tried to provide a copy of my insurance card at the front desk when I checked in and the girl just looked at it and gave it back to me. When I finally was helped by an optician, she was cold and unwelcoming. She was unable to verify my insurance and I was told that someone would call me in the morning. No one called and I had to reach back out the next afternoon and they still havent verified my insurance. Whoever was answering the phones was conpketely unsure how to help.What is needed at this location is some basic customer service training as well as guidance on professional presentation. They all looked a mess. I will be telling my daughter to get an eye exam elsewhere for a better experience. Oh, and they won't provide measurements for pupillary distance unless you buy glasses there on site. Americas Best...train your employees better. This place feels dingy and sad.

10/10 would recommend. My 9 year old was super nervous but EVERYONE made her feel so comfortable. At the end of our visit she was so excited to show off her new specs!

This location is both accommodating and caring. I felt very seen (haha) for the first time since getting eye care as a kid. Cort was a huge factor in why I enjoyed my visit. Helped me choose frames and explained the why behind it. Exam went fantastic as well. Overall really recommend this place.

Waited 40 minutes to be greeted by staff, only to be told they would not sell glasses to me because they were short staffed and I did not have my eye exam with them. They were not too busy they could not have spoken to me. If ANY of their staff had bothered to acknowledge me when I had walked in, I could have avoided waited to be helped. As someone who used to work for this company, avoid this location. Ridiculous.

This review is to specifically highlight Tammy Johnson. When I came, I went through my eyeglasses exam and waited to be helped in the end. After browsing I noticed a few pairs of glasses that I liked. Tammy greeted me happily and we discussed the prices. Unfortunately, I could not buy the pairs I wanted. Tammy really helped me find other pairs that I was happier with and fit my budget, I say that literally because she took the time to look through the other pairs on the wall. She also went as far as mixing and matching deals to fit my budget and rather than feeling embarrassed, I felt relieved to be able to go home with a pair of glasses that I could afford and would be happy with. As a new mom, my confidence hasn't been the highest and getting glasses was something that I haven't felt the most excited to do, but she made me feel confident in my decision. Thank you, Tammy! (I did 4 stars instead of 5 because I noticed today upon arrival, a lot of individuals needed translators for speaking Spanish. I believe this location may benefit from hiring more individuals that are bilingual! .)

Paola Gomez the ophthalmologist tech was absolutely wonderful with my eye exam. She was amazing in letting me know what she was doing and had excellent manners and made me feel better about the air puff test that I was dreading. I will definitely be back and hopefully I get Paola again.

The eye doctor, and the two ladies who help my wife pick out glasses were amazing. Super friendly and welcoming and let her go through a dozen different choices before she finally settled on one. I will say that the lady with the weird haircut at the front desk was super snooty from the very moment we walked in, and I saw her being that way towards other people as well. That's a shame because it pushes customers out the door before they even get to shop. That first person who comes in should absolutely be the most welcoming person in the building. One thing they don't tell you is that the two eyeglasses for 89.99, you can get other sets, for instance if you get the two green ones it's 149.99 and if you get the yellow ones it's 169.99 or something like that, you can also mix and match so you can get like one pair off the blue shelf in one pair off the yellow shelf and then You still get a super good deal. It does take about 2 weeks to get your glasses after they've been ordered or at least that's what they tell you, typically I've seen them come in about half that time. Thanks America's best for being awesome!

My experience at America's Best was very positive. My assistant was resourceful, helpful and considerate of my needs. My family has been well serviced here. I would highly recommend.
