We love Bayview! Dr G takes her time and answers all my questions. Miss Nancy is so thoughtful in helping me pick out glasses. She is also very knowledgeable about insurance costs and has helped navigate my young son's journey with broken and bent glasses (because he is ALWAYS on the move) with patience and a twinkle in her eye. It's nice to be a part of Bayview because it feels like a small caring business and not a huge chain where individuals are just a number.

My husband and I have been extremely happy to have found Bayview Optical several years ago. Both Nancy Muse (optician and owner) and Dr. Susan Gorny (Optician) are the best in the field. They offer competent, friendly service and will help with any problems and help find the best solutions. They follow up and have overseen our eye care for years. She is such a kind and passionate individual. She helps you pick out the best glasses that were made for you, always trust her opinion!! Bayview Optical is the best small business in Tacoma, hands down. My 10 year old daughter had very painful eye irritation that prevented her from opening her eyes. We had been to Urgent Care and the ER and received treatment for pink eye that didn't help whatsoever. After a couple days of nonstop pain and no help from the doctors we had seen, we decided we needed to see an optometrist. We called Bayview and explained our situation. Bayview got us in right away and the doctor very kindly and respectfully treated my extremely sensitive daughter. The doctor referred us to a pediatric specialist in Tacoma, and even personally called several places to find one that would take us within a couple hours. Within 24 hours, she was on the road to recovery from a corneal abrasion. While this is an extreme situation, I think it shows the level of care and personal service you get with Bayview. I cannot recommend them enough.

I would advise against taking your family (especially if you have children) to Bayview Optical for eye care. I really regret not leaving my appointment when I had the chance, but my schedule didn't allow for it. During my visit, I was criticized for not having glasses, and there were hints that i was a danger to my children for not having them and then it was insinuated that I couldn't afford them. My young child was asked to leave my side and ended up in tears because he had to be separated from me, even though he had been allowed to stay with me during previous appointments. I'll be taking my family's business elsewhere. We didn't deserve to be treated so unkindly.

Have not been to Bayview in years until yesterday when I needed an emergency repair to my glasses. Nancy Muse, the owner, was still one of the most compassionate, genuine people you will ever come across. Her concern for my eyeware dilemma was apparent as she took care of my glasses very quickly and got me back on the road. I will definitely return to Bayview Optical for my next pair of glasses. The Bayview store is quaint yet well stocked and prepared to meet your optical needs

Bayview has been one of the most appreciated mandatory services I've received in awhile. Nancy and Susan deliver one of kind customer service. While also bringing the experience of 20+ years in business. Nancy and Susan are a perfect combination to meet the needs of any customer entering their doors. You'll leave feeling like family.

Bayview Optical is a good place. Quality optometrist did an excellent job on my eye exam and Nancy was patient and helpful when trying to find the right frames. Quality medical is hard to find now a days but this business has outshine the other optometrist I have been to.
