This place is great! I have been coming here for the last 8 years after I had moved to the area from Seattle. Dr. Gorham is super friendly and easy going and always takes the time to help me get the best fit for my contact lenses. Front desk Anya and Heather were friendly and helpful as well, taking the time to help explain my vision benefits and what they cover. My wife and 9 year old son also go here and have positive experiences as well. Eric, another optician, was very helpful fitting my son's glasses.

I have seen Dr. Gorham twice now for contact lens fittings and both times were good experiences. He is thorough and takes the time to listen to my concerns/ explain things. He also seems to really like what he does. I tend to like small independent doctors offices (as long as they are well run). Although I did have to wait a little bit before my appointment, the staff is really nice and I have waited much longer at other eye doctor's offices before. Another plus is that I didn't have to wait a month for an appointment - they got me in in a week!

We had a great experience here! My 6 year-old son needed a functional eye exam. He didn't want to go to the appointment and he was a little bit of a stinker, but the reception staff and Dr. Gorham were very patient and kind and engaging. I think by the end my son was actually enjoying himself. I feel like this place delivered on its name in providing a great family experience.

I'm so happy we came back! Our whole family has been treated so well. I was on my last pair of contacts when I realized I hadn't ordered more. They kindly gave me a sample pack and quickly ordered my new contacts. This last visit, Dr. Gorham was thorough with my 12 yr old son's exam and then the gal ordering glasses made sure we had access to the best options for his new glasses (she had just ordered a shipment and wanted us to wait to order until we saw the newer options). I highly recommend this place for their stellar customer service and overall commitment to our well being.

I've been going to Family Vision for over 30 years and have always gotten quality care. Since Dr Pugh has retired, Dr Gorham has been my eye doctor for the past several years. He is kind, listens and pays attention to detail, he explains how our eyes work too. The office staff are welcoming and very friendly. They are located in the Proctor District and I recommend them.

I came here once in 2018 and had a rather bad experience with the staff. I had written off coming back here, but with a new job, Family Vision Center of Tacoma offered a better deal with my vision insurance than other places, so I decided to give them a go again.
I'm very glad I did. Dr. Gorham's office has a completely new staff, and with that change it's a completely different place. Everyone is so friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. I picked up a pair of glasses from them recently, and ended up just having a conversation with the staff for probably a good 30 minutes if not more. It's not just a place to go for good eye care (and it definitely does fill that role great), but a place where you can build a real connection with a team who cares not just about your eyes, but the person using those eyes too.

I'm new going to this clinic and all I have to say is I loved my experience! The environment is comfortable and inviting and my eye exam was only a couple weeks out of scheduling. I used to go to pnw eye and I feel like they were never this friendly or welcoming-more sterile. Plus their next available appt was almost 4 MONTHS out!
Dr. Gorham is very friendly and I felt comfortable chatting with him and feel like he truly cared about my eyes and well being. So glad I found a new and good eye clinic to go to!
