This place has all the latest machine to test your eyes,thus helping them to provide you with a very detailed eye exam and care . I would highly recommend this place for all your eye care. It's located at Tacoma mall building.

I was so thankful for the amazing support I received from Angelina and the other staff members as well. Angelina went above and beyond to make sure that I was completely happy with my selection of glasses. She deserves a gold star! And the whole staff there was so kind. I often leave places of business thinking customer service is just not what it used to be. I am happy to say that was not my experience at LensCrafters!

**update** I went into the store a couple days after my review and spoke with Jewel the store manager. She was so sweet. She greeted me as soon as I walked in, she quickly took care of the issue. Showed me the order and apologized and seamlessly put in for the replacements. Bypassing the extra time to send in my pair for a replacement she just ordered a whole new pair to also make sure the mistake didn't happen again. I was delighted she let me keep the case! My daughter's Armani exchange glasses just came in a dust bag and a cardboard box so she'll be so excited to have the fancy velvet case! I understand mistakes happen and I was pretty frustrated at first but very impressed by how they handled it! I'll return for future exams and purchases especially since Jewel is the store manager. Really appreciate you! I'm so disappointed. I went to this location for me and my daughter's eye exams and new glasses. It was my first time going to a lenscrafter. We spent $600+ on everything. I bought a pair of $350 Gucci eyeglasses that I was so excited for and really wanted to get before my upcoming surgery. They finally came today and now that I'm home for the night I put them on and they're the wrong prescription. I suspect they used my daughter's prescription for both of our glasses because I tried hers on too and they appear to be exactly the same. I told her when I picked them up that I had my contacts in and she just told me to close my eyes so she could check the fit. I'm so confused how this could have happened and failed multiple checks to get my order right. My surgery is in 1 week and I know I won't have the replacements in time. I just hope they will fix it without charging me. So upsetting.

The doctor I saw was outstanding! He was a guest physician- very knowledgeable, informative, and kind! The optical team member I worked with made the lens and frame purchasing process seamless and easy. Highly recommend! Excellent customer service all around!

It was a wonderful experience today at LensCrafters. I needed help with my lens and got exactly what I needed. It was truly a pleasant experience. I wish I had more eyes that needed care cuz I'd take em to LensCrafters for sure.

Poor experience with this location. I made an optical appointment for my husband after confirming they accepted our insurance. They sent a lengthy questionnaire, but after completing it, the system wouldn't accept the insurance information. My husband emailed to explain the issue but didn't follow up -- his mistake -- and ended up paying over $200 out of pocket. During the appointment, the optician criticized his previous provider's use of prism lenses, calling it a "poor choice," yet also claimed they couldn't revert to non-prism. At that point, my husband was pleased with the experience and even tipped (which still baffles me -- what optical office asks for tips?). Later, he took the new prescription to a more affordable provider, only to discover it was incomplete -- the prism wasn't listed. That company contacted LensCrafters and was told he needed another appointment because the information was missing. When I called, I was transferred to the person "in charge," who said he'd have to come back in for additional measurements. I requested a refund, as it's unreasonable to miss more work due to their mistake. She refused, claiming the optician didn't know he had a prism -- which is impossible, since they discussed it at length during the visit. If the optician truly didn't recognize the existing prism, that's concerning, as it should be apparent to anyone with proper training. If he did know and failed to include it, that's negligence. Either way, the service was incomplete and unusable. The staff member was insistent that "the service was provided," without acknowledging that the result was invalid and will have to be completely redone elsewhere. When I mentioned contacting corporate, she stated there is no corporate office. A quick Google search shows otherwise, which only adds to the issue of trust and reliability. At this point, we'll just absorb the loss because we no longer have confidence that they can provide an accurate prescription. Extremely disappointing experience -- do not recommend. Update- 10/18/25 They responded publicly quickly as you can see. However, they did not respond to the message sent via link. This appears to be an PR attempt to look like a legitimate company that will fix their mistake, but just more poor business practice. A quick Google search which I failed to do prior to service shows a pattern of poor service and complaints.
