Waitkus Eye Center

I had an awesome experience. The staff was very friendly & helpful. When I got there the waiting room was very full, so I requested to go ahead and look at frames. They happily obliged and help me find the perfect ones. Dr. Waitkus was patient and answered all of my questions. By the time I was finished & my prescription was written ordering my glasses was effortless...and they were MUCH cheaper than I anticipated. I highly recommend!!!

Waiting list to get an appointment was backed up 6 months. After I finally got in to be seen for an appointment, things were ok. Staff was friendly enough. However, cost of contacts and glasses frames are higher compared to other places. I paid for the full total of my contacts when they came in a week after exam. What has really burned me is that a bill was sent to a credit collection agency for me saying I owed more when I clearly paid for the entire purchase and visit upfront. No phone call about an account balance, no letter to inform me that they said I had an account balance outstanding with them. Just turned an account over to a collection agency without warning. Very unprofessional way of handling business and I will not be recommending their services to anyone.

Great staff. Great doctor. Atmosphere is nice. Parking is a little bit of a squeeze. Location is nice. Right across from Sheetz. I loved this office because every single one of the staff was nice, considerate, respectful, patient and understanding. Dr. Waitlists himself is very quiet, but relatable and caring. It's so hard to find any doctor or staff who comes off as anything but cold, but this bunch is truly wonderful. They use the eye drops for dilation which made things difficult for my 3 year old, but we worked with him on his level and discovered he has perfect eyesight while my older kiddo needs a pretty strong prescription. I had to try multiple contacts before we found the right brand/fit, and they made sure I could put them in and take them out before I left. Overall, I highly recommend!

Even though I called and asked if they would see me for my scheduled appointment, with a small outstanding bill that I could not pay until Friday I was told yes. I take the time off from work and go in to my appointment only to be told that they would not see me. Get your act together. I understand I have a past due balance but when I called you should have told me that you could not see me and I would have rescheduled. Do you to your lack of communication and consistency with your front office you have lost 3 patients.

Have been going to Dr Waitkus for many years, always have had WONDERFUL service, staff, pleasant, professional and polite.Dr Waitkus is always in a good mood, polite and tells it like it is. When choosing new glasses, staff are very helpful and honest.

My family had appointments at 8:30 8:45 and 9 am. At 9:05 none had been called back. My last appointment Dr. Waitkus arrived to work 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Today I have had enough. Dr. Waitkus does not run an efficient office and abviously does not value his patients. Do not waste your time with Dr. Waitkus.

Staff has always been attentive and courteous. Dr. Waitcus is professional and gets the prescription right. Downside is they can't they're backlogged with so many appointments that you have to wait more than a month and a half to be seen. No wonder it's called Waitcus Eye Care; because you'll have to Wait- so long for an appointment you'll -kus!

Exceptional service with community/family/friend feelings. Where you are not just another mark, on the calendar and more hustle for more zeros to mark up. You may feel only that you have to wait a bit, but that is because they are so popular, that they are swamped, but they get you taken care of as soon as possible. It is not that I want more eye problems, but I enjoyed my visit and left feeling good, not being just another impersonal number on the AMA conveyor belt. Zeke Applegate
