I have worn contacts for 20 years and never had issues. First time I visited here the doctor was almost infuriated that every prescription from the several doctors I had before recommended me wearing contacts. They recommended glasses instead, but I immediately had terrible double vision from trying glasses. I asked to go back to contacts, which they obliged, but changed the diameter from my previous prescriptions for some unknown reason and the new contacts were very uncomfortable. I never went back again and I am going to find another eye care provider.

My elderly mother received new glasses. When we went to pick up the glasses, I asked if I had to bring my mother into the office because it is extremely difficult due to being wheelchair-bound. Shauna without hesitation offered to come out to the car to ensure proper fit of the glasses for my mother. She went out back and forth twice to get proper adjustment but this was a huge blessing for us. Thank you Shauna

She took the time to listen to what I wanted & went way out of her way to help me with suggestions, thank you. Also very friendly, we chatted about stuff, making me feel very comfortable. Extremely upset by the service here. Due to Walmart vision center no longer taking our insurance we had to come here. My 15 year old daughter just came home extremely upset. After hearing what transpired with both my husband and daughter, the staff and doctor were so rude and unprofessional that we are going to just pay out of pocket to go back to Dr. Webb. For someone who never writes bad reviews and chalks bad experiences up as a possible bad day for an organization, the fact that I felt compelled to write this review to warn others says something.

I am a local Veteran, and DDD is the Eye care center I am referred out to by the VA. My eyesight has been getting worse, and the VA set me up with an appointment. I was scheduled for April 19th, but due to their own scheduling issue - I have now been bumped to June 11th. So now instead of a month to wait, I have to wait 3 months - Because of their scheduling mistake??? You would think that since it isn't my mistake - they would have another Dr. fit me in. Nope.

Sat waiting for 30 minutes decided to just leave. No one was in waiting room and the eye care staff didn't look busy either. Reception was talking very loud and was slightly disruptive. Just seemed like they didn't want anything to do with people in general. Sad.

I got a script from dr. Peterson for contacts and then about 2 months later i called and asked for a script for one lens to be bifocal. She said that my acct. was finalized and that i would have to pay another $101 to make that happen. "Finalized"? I think they may be upset that I purchsed my glasses from Zenni Optical online for about half the cost or less. Extremely happy with them too. Well there are 3 people in my family that wear glasses and i would agree with Ms. Peterson that our accounts are finalized. Will go elsewhere. Terrible customer service.
