Walmart Vision & Glasses

I had a great appointment today at the Walmart vision center! I was about ten minutes early and they got me started with the tech, Victor, right away. He was friendly and did a good job. Then I saw Dr Webb and it was such a great experience. I was a little nervous because it had been years since going to an appointment but he was very friendly and let me blabber about all my concerns/questions. He answered everything I asked about and took time. It was a quick appointment but didn't feel rushed by any means. The paperwork at the end was a little slow but I got in and out of there in less than an hour.

Very sneaky with pricing. Was given no options on what type of coating, etc I woulf like on my glasses. Was charged for extra then and my insurance does not cover those items so my glasses will not be covered by insurance. So they gave me 10 percent off, however it should have been 20 percent off as my insurance will take an additional 10 percent off. Also they tried to sell me contacts in the same manner. No choice in what type I wanted. Just $100# a box. But the optometrist himself is awesome!

Dr. Webb's office always gives me the best eye exams - Outstanding team! * I am laughing at the " I was only 5 min late" complaints: I have honestly been only 5min late once to my appts with Dr. Webb and I have still been seen ( did call ahead to warn them and see if I could still be seen). Being late and then blaming the office is some Olympic-level mental gymnastics. Impressive, but still no medal :P

Baraboo Walmart Vision Center is excellent in every way! Dr. Webb, Jennifer and staff are extremely helpful and kind. Generous with their time and patient with explanations and assistance. Dr. Webb discovered an issue during a routine eye exam that required surgery..I am forever grateful! Jennifer is so knowledgeable and always has a smile ready to give! We love the Baraboo Walmart Vision Center..5 stars isn't enough! Thank you for being #1 "in our eyes"!!

Dr Webb is very professional and personable. Gives a great exam and answers all my questions and concerns.

The bad reviews are accurate. The staff here are nasty and lie. I went here for years and Webb himself is always rushed, asks you questions but doesn't listen to the answer, I only see him for about 4 min every appointment. I would try to pay out of pocket because I was worried he'd over charge my insurance so after a few years when I finally gave in and gave him my insurance info, he billed them over triple what it'd normally cost and that ate into all of my hardware benefit leaving me no money for glasses. I had to contact this place 5 times over 2 months to get it fixed and they finally did with great hesitation. Then when I called a little while ago, I asked for them to send me my prescription and they said it was from 2021 so they didn't have the record. I said no record of it, she was like "well a little bit but it's blacked out," and I asked what does it say, she angerly told me 1 eye, and I'm like what does the other eye say, and she told me but then said "the rest is blacked out because it's expired." Yeah right, lying through your teeth, you can't tell me the system just erases a prescription the day after it expires, add Webb actually takes the time to go through everything from scratch. Nope, he just starts where your script was last time, and boom, copies and pastes you a new script. Save yourself some frustration and go somewhere else.

WOW! Dr.Webb was GREAT, he was very professional, proficient and explained everything beyond my expectations. My wife also had a appointment and was EXTREMELY! Pleased and Impressed. We also were Very! Impressed with the 2 employees Victor and Sorry did not get a name for the sweet lady who did our test (3/26/24).Thank You All !!!!.....
