I had an outstanding experience at Stanton Optical in Greenfield. I lost my glasses right before our vacation to Hawaii, and the manager, Peter, made sure my glasses were processed at the last second before closing. Raymund, one of the employees, stayed after closing hours to ensure I could pick them up before our trip. Their dedication and kindness made a huge difference, and I'm incredibly grateful for their help. Highly recommend Stanton Optical!

I ordered glasses that should've arrived 6 days ago. I have been trying to reach customer service, but there is only 1 means of contact. This phone number takes the caller to their closest store for "customer service". I ordered a pair of glasses online, which is separate from the stores location. The manager said he has nothing to do with online orders and as such cannot help with my order. I asked to be pushed to someone higher and he couldn't help. I was charged for the glasses immediately, the manager can see I ordered them, we both can see that they should've been delivered to my address 6 days ago, yet there is still no tracking number. This is a complete scam. There is no recourse that I can do. Maybe eventually glasses will be magically delivered, but I don't foresee that happening. If I could rate Stanton Optical a 0/5, I would.

made an appointment at 5pm, was told when i walked in that they close in an hour and i would be making someone stay late if i wanted to do the exam in-person, otherwise i would have to do an inaccurate exam (their words) digitally. felt really frustrating to drive all that way just to be made to feel guilty for even coming, the worst part is that there was even appointment times later than mine (5:15 and 5:30). ended up leaving and won't be coming back.

Had a great experience at this location. The two employees were extremely helpful to get me the best option available for my situation. Would recommend this location as staff are friendly, thoughtful and fast.

I am super happy with the service I received at the Greenfield location! Even though I don't qualify for the running discount due to my script (over +4) needing more correction than the average person, they still took so much care and attention to my script needs. Not only were they all super friendly, they were very knowledgeable in their trade and gave me great information and insight about my future needs and how to be budget friendly! They also made sure to work with me on the bottom line pricing. And when a freak accident happened, they made sure to rectify it very appropriately and promptly, which really made me feel like a valued customer, not just a number or a source of income for the business. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone! Thanks again to the staff!!! You guys are GREAT!

Typically a lens crafters customer but my last experience made me want to venture elsewhere. A friend recommended Stanton and I'm so glad she did. The experience was wonderful and I left feeling very taken care of. Peter was so nice and thorough and explained pricing very well. He gave me options with no pressure. I spent less and received more than visits elsewhere. Overall a great experience and will be back. Highly recommend.

The staff at the South 76th location is Awesome. Each one was incredibly friendly and professional, everything regarding the eye exam down to picking out frames was Top Notch. The eye exam process was explained thoroughly. I'm giving 3 Stars solely based on the Staff Only. Now as far as the Pricing ---- it's outrageous and very, very misleading. That's something I don't blame the staff for as I know they are not the ones who set the Dollar Amount. If it wasn't for the Awesome Job of the Staff I wouldn't give any stars but I know you have to give at least 1 star. The other positive outside of the staff is they do have a really nice variety of Frames. I wouldn't recommend them based on the outrageous price and the misleading advertising. Really Great Staff, Really Terrible Pricing. I was quoted a price of over $1000.00 for 2 pairs of glasses, which I can't afford. This was also with insurance paying a small amount. I have Never paid anything close to that kind of money for glasses with or without insurance. Mind you my script is mild and these weren't designer frames, no bells and whistles just regular nice plastic frames. I was flabbergasted. I opted to get 1 pair which came out to be $345.00 Not sure how that pricing worked but I went with that. I didn't get how 2 pairs were over $1000.00 and 1 pair was less than half. Both were plastic frames that may have had a $20.00 difference in price for the frames. I put $100.00 in cash down and did AFFIRM for the remainder. Hopefully I'll get them in the 7 to 14 days that was quoted. In the meantime I also went to Walmart where I've gotten glasses before and should've went back to. They confirmed that my script is still light and I was able to get 2 pairs of glasses for under $250.00. I did end up putting them on my Charge Card and hopefully they will both arrive in the 5 to 7 days I was quoted. Live and Learn, and I definitely have. Update 3/9/25 : Stanton reached out to me regarding my review. I missed their call but they left a message to let me know that The District Manager read my review and they would be crediting my Affirm account $65.00. I definitely appreciated the credit and was surprised by it. Thanks to the District Manager for caring enough to #1 actually read comments and #2 actually doing something to try to correct an issue.Thanks Again.
