America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I went there today with my mom. The lady who was helping her name was Holly. We had a situation where we didn't expect the price to be so high and my mother explained like she can't spend that much right now how much would it be for one pair. Which was more in the price range. And Holly seemed sympathetic. But after we left my mom realized she forgot her cup inside. And walked into Holly talking to people about how my mom didn't like the price and was talking about her to people disrespectfully. I'm very unpleased on how Holly treated my mom and was talking about her. She also didn't make any sense while she worked with us very sporadic seemed like she was on something... I would be only coming back for my glasses and probably won't come back after the incident. but I will say Karl Schwandt was very nice he did my eye exam and gave me information about my prescription and was very informational!

Great experience! Took my son for eye exam for glasses. The whole process took an hour only from checking in to walking out. The doctor was so friendly, made my son feel at ease. He found 2 pairs of glasses he liked right away. The exam and two pairs of glasses were just under $100. Great deal! All staff were fantastic!!! Highly recommend!

Have not had a good experience here whatsoever. First time I went, I had my exam and ordered my glasses. When I went in to get my glasses, they were wrong and I didn't realize till I got home. I called immediately and they were not helpful. I explained the situation and all they said was "okay." I asked if they could fix this and they said I would have to come back in. So I came back in the next day and they said they' were going to fix it. I am currently still waiting on these glasses that I have put an order in for over a month ago. Every time I call it seems like they have no idea what is going on and act like I am asking stupid questions when in reality I am just wondering where my glasses are.

I need to share my great experience with America's Best in Oak Creek, WI. I recently stopped in to have my glasses adjusted a few times. Kate, the receptionist was very helpful. When I didn't think my insurance would cover an eye exam & new glasses until February 2026, Kate looked up my insurance coverage and found that I was immediately eligible! When I was there for my eye exam, Kate, Holly & Sloan all helped me choose 2 pairs of frames that I just love! They were so helpful and fun to work with. And, Bryan was very helpful with placing my order. Thank you everyone at America's Best!

Eye Doctor was pleasant but staff conversations were very weird. Sat for about 30 minutes post appointment because I was told someone upfront would get me finished up. Nothing help at all. Had to finally ask and it seemed like nobody had a clue as to why I was waiting. Needless to say, I probably won't be back here.

Nice people working there and buying glasses is no problem. I was told they'd be ready in 10 to 12 days. I ordered 2 weeks yesterday so I called and was told they would be delivered by UPS today. This person said that was not true but they haven't opened a shipment yet. Not sure why tracking a shipment is so difficult? The person said they would call or text me when they arrived is not my first pair there so I know that's not always true. I bought glasses earlier and called after 2 weeks. They said they'd been there for 3 days. But nobody called me!

They always take care of my needs, whenever I walk in. Unfortunately, I've had to walk in a few times for a couple of re-exams to get the correct prescription. Also, I understand and I hope they understand the adjustments that come with comfort to have something on your face all day. I really feel uncomfortable going back anymore, because I get the look of, what now? I won't be going back ever.

Felt hawked down trying to just look at glasses and felt very pressure by their blonde associate. When I called 2 weeks later to see if my glasses and contacts are ready because I got the email confirmation I was told by the store the dont have them. I stopped on the next day to speak to someone about this as I was heading out of town for a while and was told that they had them for the past week....do better..
