I just had the best eye exam experience with Dr. Stephanie at Amplify EyeCare/Gundersen Health System in Onalaska, Wisconsin! From the moment Dr. Stephanie walked in, she was warm, engaging, and genuinely interested in what I had to say. She took the time to listen carefully to all of my concerns, answered every question thoroughly, and made me feel like I truly mattered (not just another patient on the schedule). Dr. Stephanie is incredibly personable and clearly passionate about what she does. You can tell she really cares about her patients' eye health and overall comfort. If you're looking for an optometrist who combines expertise with kindness and excellent bedside manner, Dr. Stephanie is the one. Highly, highly recommend! I want to leave a ZERO!!!!! Talk about a rip off. I had an eye exam, I then proceeded to order my glasses there, even though they wouldn't accept my insurance. I ordered the glasses and when they came in, I could see nothing!!!! All blurry. I asked if I could come back with my old prescription and try to figure something out. Went back, remeasured and left some parts of the prescription off, changed to a lined bifocal, and asked if I could get a partial refund, HA!!!! $50 when it cost $160!!!! So then after further discussion, I asked for a total refund. JOKE!!!!!! No glasses, and they only refunded me basically 50% of the lens cost and all of the frame cost. So, I got nothing, and they received $100 for my wasted time and NO GLASSES!!!! Out of $485 I got back $390 NEVER TRUST THIS EYE CLINIC!!!!! So, I am taking my prescription to Winona and my insurance will cover 100% of everything!!!! NEVER WILL I GO TO GUNDERSEN AGAIN!!!!!
