Was there last week to get my step daughter glasses and one staff member stood out to me. Wonderful, light haired lady. Her desk was on the front left side walking in. She spoke with us during our first visit and we left but came back with the kids. She had already punched out for the day but she stayed anyway and helped us pick out the perfect pair of glasses.

Very good doctor. Don't buy your glasses from Walmart optical however. I have a problem with mine. They told me there is nothing they can do about it. So I complained and they replaced my lenses. They have the same problem that the old ones did. There is small print on both lenses and they swear up and down this is normal. I've had glasses for over 30 years. It is NOT normal.

I've been trying to find a place to get an eye exam, affordable and near by so I can get my license. I live in baraboo and have been having troubles even CONTACTING my Wal-Mart's vision center let alone setting up an appointment. I called the portage one and was certain of going there because, being my first time getting glasses, the woman who answered my call, her name was Chelsea, answered my millions of questions and was beyond friendly, easing my nervousness. Went in for the fifth time to get my glasses tightened cuz my lens kept popping and Paula was wonderfully understanding and professional.. after I was told by Kella that it looks like the lens didn't even go to this frame.. well I order them thru you guys for my insurance$400 is a lot to pay for a pair of glasses..that keep popping out lens.. Paula was great thank you very much
