Envision Surgery Center

My appointment was at 9:00 am, and I was told to arrive at 8:00, which I did. At 8:00, I was taken back to prep and treated wonderfully by Nurse Lisa, who took great care to be professional as well as warm. She explained every step of her work, and by 8:20, I was heading back to surgery. Yes, I was 40 minutes early! Dr. Kenyon was my anesthesiologist, and nurses Amanda and Kim were all kind, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. They gave me great confidence from the start. Dr. Murphy is exceptional in his work; I was awake for the procedure, and he was informative and explained every step before he made it. I was never uncomfortable or concerned, and before I knew it, I was finished. I was out the door at 10:00 am, ready to start my healing. I had all the directions I needed, as well as instructions for any additional help or support. The following morning, Dr. Murphy called to check up on me, and I was able to report that I was doing very well and following my instructions as I was told. That is key! This was a procedure that was good from step one. I have no complaints and truly only good results. Dr. Murphy is listed on the Top 100 Doctors of Milwaukee, and he has earned it well.

I hate to do this but their billing practices are very rigid and unfair. I was forced to pay for my surgery with a 3 percent upcharge ( which was not shared ) all because they would not honor a written letter from my insurance authorizing my surgery. This was very stressful as this surgery was medically necessary and could not be cancelled. When trying to reach staff business office manager, supervisor of clinic etc no one is there and reception cannot share emails. Besides this issue staff were kind and caring.

I have had 4 appointments at this center, the most recent for cataract surgery. Each appointment was outstanding. Every team member involved in my treatment was professional, friendly, caring, and calming! The reception team, the pre op team, surgical team and post op teams obviously were well trained and perfect for their jobs. I was also impressed that everything ran on time. I did not have to wait long for any of those visits. Facility is extremely clean and welcoming. Location is easy to find and parking simple. Would give this team and facility 10 stars if that was possible!

The staff at the envision surgery center were very friendly, informative, and kind. The 2 pre op nurses Meagan and Emma were comforting and caring. While in the surgery room the staff there too was amazing explaining everything to put me at ease. Also Dr Sward was the best. My experience was great.

Had cataract surgery on my left eye about a month ago, my right today. The staff there was great. They explained everything they were doing, also were very attentive to make sure I was comfortable during the process. Dr. Sward was great. On a side note I really liked hearing "Mood for a day" by YES while in the waiting lounge.

I never met so many caring people than this place. So nice and very comforting. I had cataract surgery in both eyes with no sedation. Thank you to everyone who works here for being so kind to me. Dr. Michael Raciti, MD did a fantastic job. He is super nice. 10 stars for the staff and doctor :)

I care for my 92yo mother and she had cataract surgery Envision. This facility was outstanding; excellent location, extremely friendly/caring front desk, nursing and helpers, not to mention clean and has a beautiful lobby if you have to wait. They allowed me to accompany my mom back in the prep room before she went into a sterile field. This made her experience that much more anxiety-free and I highly recommend this facility. Her eye surgeon is Dr. Sward - who is a very kind & professional doctor and made my mom very at ease.

Our experience with Milwaukee Eye Care was most pleasant. All the people who work at this facility are considerate and caring. We highly recommend Milwaukee Eye Care for all your eye care needs.
