I guess I do a lot of my shopping at Walmart but my glasses only cost me $112 the eye doctor here was super nice and understood that I couldn't afford to spend a lot of money on eyewear, he hooked me up with some nice frames and it didn't take him long at all to do my exam. I love a business that puts its customers 1st. Thanks Walmart, and just to let you know, you've got a very good doctor with this store.
We had a fantastic experience at Walmart Vision, Sue, Erica and Bonnie were so helpful and professional, Dr Hubbard did a very thorough and complete examination
Prices very reasonable and had a good variety of glasses. We highly recommend going to Walmart Vision Center for your eyes we wouldn't go anywhere else.
Dr. Hubbard is great. He took the time to fit me in to do an extra peripheral vision test after a medical diagnosis. He explained the test, how it works, what it measures, and what to look for in the results. Great associates helped me through the process.
Dr. Hubbard has been absolutely amazing and very good to me and my needs. I was scammed by Americas best and needed contacts asap. Dr. Hubbard still helped me out even if he didn't have my exact prescription. That was the kindest gesture I've ever received by a doctor. I will never try anywhere else again. Good quality, Great prices, and fantastic service. Thank you for all you do Walmart Eye Center!
Dr. Hubbard is amazing, by far the best optometrist I have ever had. He is thorough and he works to make sure you understand any issues with your eyes. I was told by a previous eye doctor that I had a certain issue but I never fully understood it. The first time I met with Dr. Hubbard, he explained it well and in a way that was easy to understand. I highly recommend him!
**Note: As for the vision center, I cannot recommend them for ordering glasses. I went with the more expensive lens and they still scratched very easily. The quality is just not there. If it is your only way to afford glasses, then go for it, they work well enough. However, if you can afford more I would opt to go elsewhere for a higher quality.
I have been doing an annual visit since 2017. He has been very helpful with my issues and needs. I went to my old doctor in Casper, and his office botched my paperwork for driving. The result of their mix-up causes my license to be needlessly suspended. Dr. Hubbard has never failed me in such a way. Now I hand walk my form to the state office, so convenient as well. Now, I'm going towards surgery for my cataract. For the meanwhile, I'm going to invest in the bioptic telescope option. Thanks for being a great doctor, I've been with you long enough to notice the years add up.
Dr. Hubbard is very knowledgeable and helps you understand more about your own eyes. Best optometrist I've ever been to! Definitely come see him if you want the best treatment for the best value.
Pros: Doctor Hubbard is amazing. Everything is cheap.
Cons: staff customer service. Lenses poor quality.
I really enjoyed that the price was so low and that I could get an appointment so quickly. The doctor is extremely nice. He's friendly and explains everything. Fast. Comfortable.
The only issues I had was with the staff. The first person I talked to about lenses in the vision center seemed really reluctant to... do her job? I kept a smile and gave her the frames I brought in to get lenses for. She took them back and told me they would be ready on Tuesday, one week to the day. I said alright and waited. Saturday I got a call that they were done, so I went to pick them up and they looked great -- except that there was a scratch on BOTH lenses. Right in the middle.
I'm not sure how easy it is to scratch lenses while making them. I do know how hard it can be to scratch lenses wearing them, and these were supposed to be scratch resistant. I have a pair of cheap plastic lenses in glasses I've been wearing temporarily. They are five years old and dont have scratches. So I really feel like this should never have happened. Further... it should have been noticed and fixed before even calling me.
So they offered to redo the lenses and I agreed. I didnt think of asking for a partial refund then. I was a little upset and I wanted to be able to see well again. They told me it would take about five days.
I got a call the next Wednesday (today) and I went to pick them up. I was meticulous with cleaning and checking this time. And then I asked for a partial refund. I had to wait extra time, they had tried to give me bad product, they had wasted my time having to go in before... I felt like some of my money back was justified.
First the lady tried to say she couldn't do it, so I asked who could. She tried to act like their computer system couldnt process partial refunds. So I said how about you give me a full refund then and I will pay a new bill for what I owe you? That's when she went to another computer and after a few minutes told me that they CAN do partials but all she would give me is 5%. I was pretty annoyed with that. They managed to scratch both my first lenses and shes only gonna give me 5%? I feel pretty ripped off. The new lenses work for now at least. And the doctor was nice.
