Dr was very nice and made sure to find the best prescription that will work for me and overall staff was nice. However training is lacking. The girl that helped me did not understand my insurance and kept saying her computer was saying one thing so thats what she had to go by. She asked me to call my insurance which I did and the rep with my insurance stated i did have coverage and shes not sure why the office was saying otherwise. I passed the message along to the girl but she kept saying her computer said one thing i ended up requesting my prescription to just go somewhere else to get my order in. I called my insurance again and a diff rep told me the same thing and on top of that she told me that this office had already did an authorization for my benefits so I wouldnt be able to use my benefits elsewhere unless i got it cancelled. I was thankful to be able to do that with the rep over the phone and I went to a diff Americas best and they pulled my benefits and were able to use my benefits available with my insurance. Girls were nice but like i said training is severely lacking. Probably wont be back here because of that, which is a shame bc even though they were out of network (i still chose them) and i still really liked the doctor!

I had the best experience on 4/8/25. Ebony, the Supervisor and one of her receptionist were impeccable. Together,we figured out how to process the VA claim for myself. Their patience was awesome. I recommend that those two receive a bonus or raise to accommodate their customer service skill set! Kudos, Lula James

The crew that was working today was fantastic!!!! From the very sweet receptionist (she may be entitled to a better term) who helped my 3 year old pick out his 'BEST' purple glasses, to Courtney who was so patient and kind when checking out the proper distance for his lenses, to Gary who helped with the payment (care credit - not used that often at this location) to ALL the the staff that was so sweet and supportive!!! I could not have had a better experience!! Remember, in 2022 sometimes we just have to take a deep breath...be appreciative for those that want to help us and be patient!!! You all were amazing today! Thank you

First time coming here and I definitely will be coming back! The staff is helpful and very friendly! I am going to definitely recommend this location to friends and family.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The Dr. made sure my daughter received the correct prescription and spent time with her getting everything right.

Ebony was so wonderful! She was so friendly, and easy to talk to. Ebony was very helpful, she was genuinely concerned about my husbands eye infection, and she went above and beyond to help us out. Dr.K was amazing. Dr.K postponed her scheduled lunch to help my husband and get his eye better. I highly recommend anyone needing exceptional eye care services to stop by the Hoover store and see these lovely ladies!

My 2 daughters had an appointment in the Hoover location today. We were welcomed so kindly by the staff! Everyone was so great and took good care of my daughters. When we were checking out, Andy processed the paperwork at the end and explained everything clearly. She was very efficient and knowledgeable at her job. My daughters and I had an excellent experience and would recommend this location!
