Day Eye Center/ Hoover Eye Care Partners

Had my 11 yr old seen and had my 3 other kids in tow. Dr. Day and his secretary were so kind and understanding with us. They brought out crayons for my 2 and 5 yr olds. I nursed the baby, no biggie. Definitely a kid-friendly place. My daughter not only got her first pair of glasses but learned some eye exercises as well. The visit and glasses were less than $150 total without insurance. And the office is small, cute and modern. They have a huge selection of glasses to choose from too. I definitely recommend Day Eye Center!

Dr. Day is a wonderful, knowledgeable and caring doctor. He shared so much information regarding diabetes and my eyesight and many things I can do to improve my situation. He also referred me to an eye surgeon for a condition in one of my eyes. I was not only satisfied with the care provided, I was very impressed. I would highly recommend Dr day to anyone.

The entire staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Day was actually able to diagnose me and figure out how to fix my issue after a lifetime of no answers. He is very thorough and I feel my whole family receives the best care.

My first visit to Day Eye Center after being recommended by a friend. I thought I had an object in my eye causing a lot of pain and non stop tears. The staff took me straight back to the exam room and Dr. Day examined my eye thoroughly and did not find anything, but decided I had a viral infection! He prescribed eye drops with steroids and antibiotic and told me that I would start to immediately start feeling relief after I start the drops. The office staff Said they would call my prescription in to my pharmacy, but as the day passed by I had not heard anything from the pharmacy. I called Dr. Day's office only to find they had already closed for the day. I called the pharmacy and they told me a prescription had not been called in for me. My friend that recommended them called Dr. Day and he inturn called me and apologized and he called in the prescription. He continues to call me and check that I had received the medication. I was very impressed with Dr. Day, his professionalism and the fact that he really cared about a patient he had never met, but wanted to make sure I was out of pain and that my eye was healing. It is very rare to receive personal care from any medical. Staff these days, but Dr. Day in his free time took the time to make sure my needs were being seen to. My next eye check up, exam etc will be at the Day Eye Center!

Staff is very friendly and professional; Dr. Day took the time to discuss any issues with my eyes in an understandable level; in fact, I found his exam educational. Glasses ordered were ready within 1.5 hours. Dr. Day gave helpful recommendations regarding cataract surgery and allergies. Highly recommend!!!

Dr, Day is great, but this place is an administrative nightmare. Over the last 2 years, they've forgotten to order my contacts 3 times and they blamed it on a system issue. They also have no idea how insurance plans work. They said my insurance only covered $75 of my contacts order. I tried explaining how that's incorrect and they said "maybe you need to sit down and write it out so you can understand" and refused to look at the benefits coverage information from my insurance provider. I took my prescription and ordered my contacts elsewhere...it actually covered $300, not $75. I can only imagine how much I've been overcharged in the past because of their incompetence. It's not worth the headache to deal with these people.

Wonderful experience as always. Dr. Day is extremely knowledgeable and personable. His staff is always friendly and very helpful. I can't imagine seeing anyone else for my eye care needs. Thank you so much!!!

I highly recommend this Eye Center. Their customer service is second to none. Dr. Jim Day, was outstanding, and exceeded my expectations with his services. Very impressed with their personal touch, professionalism and customer service. I wish I would've found him decades ago.
