I love mu eye care team. Everyone is attentive and always available to answer questions. I see Dr. Amy Chi. She takes the time to go over any concerns that you've had within the last year and it's always giving recommendations for things after hearing concerns. I highly recommend the team at Dr. Fred Slater, Optometrist!

Dr Chi is the best! She's thorough, very knowledgeable, and very personable. Appointments are easy to make, and whenever I've needed to get in there quickly, the front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating as well. I highly recommend her!

Dr Slater has been helping my eyesight for many years with mono vision contacts. I'm 66 and see well at distance and close up without any glasses. Dark restaurant menus- no problem. His staff is also very professional and accommodating.

I've been a customer of Dr. Slater's for many years and they've always been very helpful, but I want to call out an optician who went above and beyond in helping me get my order set up. Mark Aguilar was outstanding in every regard. Very personable, patient and welcoming, quickly establishing rapport and taking the time to get things right at every step of the way. Of course, like most repeat patients I wanted to get the same model frames with my new prescription, but alas, they are no longer available. Mark helped me pick out excellent new frames, educating me every step of the way on proper lens sizing and proper shape for my face and expected usage (lots of outdoor activity). After settling on the frames and sizes Mark walked me through the options on things like progressive and transition lenses, anti-scratch and glare coatings and extras like clip-on polarizing lenses. After making my selections Mark took his time to fill out the form with the myriad of details, and then took the time to make sure everything was on the order properly after deriving my cost after insurance. I highly recommend Slater's Optometry and, if you can get him, Mark Aguilar as your optician!

I was having symptoms again from a recent injury I had sustained on one of my eyes. I called here and was immediately fitted in under an emergency visit. Upon arrival, I was welcomed by the receptionist at the desk, and after signing some initial paperwork, I was then examined by one of their optometrist. The experience was all too smooth and easy. She was very attentive to details and my needs. Addressed all of my concerns and eased my anxiety. I was genuinely cared for the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out. Definitely would revisit again and again!
