Eye Focus: Umeda Raymond N OD

On my second year with Dr. Umeda and he's nothing short of amazing. Due to astigmatism, getting my prescription properly adjusted takes some nuance and patience. Each time he's carefully made finite adjustments to keep me at 20/20, both close and distance. The staff is also very friendly and efficient rounding out the overall experience. If you're in need of a first rate optometrist, look no further.

Optometrists are like dentists, etc. I need to feel exceptionally comfortable and confident with the Dr. and the Staff. Dr.'s assistants explain everything from the moment I walk in the door until the moment I walk out. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Umeda takes the time to explain every little detail post exam. They have state of the art equipment as well as a large selection of frames. The assistants have absolutely no problem going through over 50 pair of frames to help with the decision if necessary. VERY patient! I am completely confident in the capabilities of the entire office and Dr. Umeda not to mention comfortable!

If you want an eye doctor that really cares about you, this is the place. I have been seeing Dr. Umeda for more than 20 years and really appreciate the great care he takes to explain how I am doing and to correlate my vision to my daily life and work. They do have some crazy new technology which makes me feel very comfortable that they will be able to early detect any issues. The staff is super friendly and very helpful.

I have been visiting Dr. Umeda for my eyecare needs for many years. His office has modern testing equipment that helps evaluate retina and macula health which are a specific concern for me. Also, I have sensitive eyes and do not find most contact lenses comfortable. Dr Umeda has worked with me over the years to identify the best contact lenses for me.

The staffs are really kind and patient. DRM Umeda spend more than 20 mins adjusting the lenses to make sure my daughter get the best fit.

All possible safety precautions were taken during my recent eye exam. I felt safe and confident that Dr Umeda and his staff were protecting me from cross contamination from other patients. Thank you
