Lens Crafters has the worse workmanship in optometry. I brought a brand new frame which I bought from a designer store to put in new lens with prescription. The store manager told me that they are not responsible for the frame. Fair enough. I have this service done at other optometrist, and it never gave me any issues. Plus this is a brand new high quality frame. When I got the completed glasses back, the frame is completely bend. One side of the frame is tilted out, basically it is uneven , one side of the glass is in and the other out. The store clerk said it is because they have to force the new lens in, but since they are not responsible for the frame , so they don't care. Then she said it is because of my prescription which is different for both eyes. Therefore, one glass is in and the other is out!! Seriously, this is the most ridiculous comment. The other sales clerk refused to help and said they are not responsible because I didn't buy the frame from them. This is the most unprofessional optometrist I have ever been to. What a disappointment.

Overall, it was a good experience. Employees were kind and helpful. This was my first time buying vision glasses, so there was a lot that I didn't know about frames and lenses. The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is simply because I felt that employees at other stores were more informative and helped me more in understanding the differences between certain lenses and frame sizes. However, it was still a good experience with Lens Crafters and Lens Crafters ultimately had the best price for what I wanted compared to other stores.

LensCrafters in Macy's at Serramonte is by far the best experience I've had when choosing glasses. So many options, but the best part of the experience was the lady who helped me name Cellie! She wasn't trying to just sell me anything, was extremely patient with me and made sure that I left there with the right pair of glasses and being very happy with my purchase. I had her full attention at all costs. She is one of the most amazing salesperson I have came in contact with in a long time. I felt cared for and genuinely appreciated with the service she provides. Great place with great service.
