This eye center is fantastic! The team there is very caring. I highly recommending calling before entering the store.So you can find out if you need an eye exam.Before getting your new pair of glasses. However, it's not an issue to walk up ring the doorbell, and someone will open the door for you to look around.And you can make an appointment right then.And there.
I would say, be honest with your doctor when you're getting an exam.Let them know any issues that you may be having with your eyes or the time of day or if you are working on a computer staring at a screen for some time. That all affects how your eyes feel right then, and there before they examine.
I got multiple glasses from this place.And they cover vsp insurance. I was blown away by this new display.And had to get these pair of glasses in the picture. I also got my metaglasses from them. But I don't think it's as easy as I got lucky to get them last year. It doesn't hurt talk ask.
I will go here as long as my assurance allows me to.

We've been coming here for a few years now for vision checkups and buying our prescription glasses. The eye exams have been thorough and consistently well administered. The office staff is very responsive and helpful with making appointments, pulling up insurance details and billing. They carry a diverse selection of frames for prescription glasses and sunglasses from regular brands like your RayBans to luxury brands like Prada, Gucci etc. You may need to book your vision exam a few weeks in advance due to high demand.

Worst customer service and very expensive!!!!! I did an exam and prescription with them. Usually I go to another optometrist but the person had retired so that's why I decided to go to a new one. When I received my glasses, all was good except for one thing. The glasses only had farsighted vision but not nearsighted. So I had went to try to fix it but they said that'll be extra charge! Ridiculous!!! No one ever asked me if I wanted to add it on the first time so I won't be charged extra. My usual place never charges me extra for this. I WILL NEVER GO TO SUCH PLACE AGAIN!!!!!

Westlake Vision was a great experience for checking my eye prescription for the first time in 4 years!
They were able to fit me in within a few days based on a recent cancellation. I was in and out with my new prescription and glasses ordered during my lunch hour though they stayed busy. All of the staff members were super sweet and professional. They took all the proper precautions for cleanliness and customer count during this COVID pandemic in the store upon arrival and anytime a customer used any equipment or tried on glasses or sat in chairs. They had a variety of brands and styles of glasses to try and gave good recommendations based on my facial structure.
Dr. Randy Yamada was my eye doctor and was very kind and professional as well. His work was thorough and explained in a way I easily understood. I will definitely be coming back for my glasses here from now on. It helps that i live in the neighborhood too!
