I have only been to one other eye doctor before seeing Dr. Janay, and I am honestly blown away by the level of professionalism and care she provides every single time I visit her office. I recently suffered a concussion and was experiencing significant dizziness. For several weeks, I couldn't comfortably wear my glasses or contact lenses, which was both frustrating and concerning. When I explained not only what I was experiencing physically but also my financial situation, Dr. Janay met me with compassion, flexibility, and understanding. She worked with me on a payment structure so I could still be seen, which meant more than I can express. What truly stood out was how she handled the appointment itself. She reassured me that my prescription had not changed and took the time to clearly explain that the symptoms I was experiencing were normal following a concussion. She was patient, thorough, and incredibly calming. She allowed me to be vulnerable about my concerns and genuinely put my mind at ease by letting me know that everything was going to be okay. If you are looking for a proactive, professional, and compassionate optometrist who truly prioritizes patient care, I cannot recommend Dr. Janay enough.

I am in front of my computer about 8-10 hours a day and was having eye strain and very tired all the time. I had thought I had other fatigue issues and would never had thought it was the eyes. I went for a consultation, and got fitted for computer glasses with Blue Blockers and WOW, my energy level is back to where it was, headaches are gone. I was skeptical at first how computer glasses would help, but 6 months later I can see a huge difference. After my day, I take my glasses off and I can see clear as day without eye strain. I have near sightedness and Beachside was able to help and consult and I am so glad they came to my rescue. Prior to getting glasses I went to a couple of doctors to get a physical and even an MRI to find out why I am getting headaches and it AMAZES ME, that NOT ONE doctor said maybe you should get fitted for computer glasses or recommended- that was my issue! MRI was a waste and told me nothing. Family practice doctors said, everything was normal! I hope if someone is reading this and you're having fatigue issues with computer strain, this could be your problem. Thanks Beachside!

Had my eye exam with Dr. Melissa Germundsen and it was great. She was super thorough, really easy to talk to, and made sure all my questions were answered. The front desk team was super friendly and helpful too. Overall, just a really great experience.

Outstanding services here! Very efficient and thorough, not to mention how nice everyone is. They did a better job examining and prescribing glasses for me than I've ever had, and I'm 72 years old and I've been wearing glasses since the third grade!

I was in the office for my annual check up this week and it is always the best experience possible!!! There has never been a long wait and everyone from the front office to the back office is most friendly and very cordial. I always have the opportunity to ask all of my questions and, furthermore, someone ALWAYS listens and responds promptly-always outstanding customer service! You can't help but to think that you are their first priority in every way!!! I know that Beachside Optometry has only an actual 5-Star rating, but they will always get an 11-Star service and professional rating from me!! Beachside Optometry is fantastic. The staff prepares well before your appointment to get you all the information you'll need in an efficient way. Outstanding customer service! I saw Dr. Sekhon and she was great, super friendly. I had to choose between glasses or contacts . I chose to try a 4 week trial for contacts for a fee before making my decision. First time contact-user so I'm glad they had this option. Went with the contacts and I'm very satisfied. Placed my order and waiting for them to arrive at home.

Dr Kirk always takes her time to go over your vision health and any questions to make sure you are comfortable and explains all your options. The entire office staff is great. Very accommodating. Im glad i made the switch from my last eye care office.
