This review is long overdue. Dr. Hwang is a wonderful and skilled optometrist who really takes the time to explain everything and answer questions. Even though I live in a different state now, I still see Dr. Hwang when I can (yes, he's worth the flight). The receptionist is also lovely to speak with. Overall, great practice - caring, professional, and honest.

Dr. Hwang is an eyesight genius who actually has a good understanding of his field more than I encountered with other doctors. I was very lucky to have found him many years ago and my kids have been going to him for a very long time. I was recently looking up his Irvine location and almost had a heart attack that he moved, but thankfully he has this other location. On top of being skilled, he and his staff are very nice.

The office opens on Saturdays and Sundays!
My daughter had an eye injury on Sunday of memorial weekend and the office was able to fit her in at the last minute. Dr Hwang is very thorough and takes time with his patients. You'll never feel rushed like in other big clinics. Looking forward to my family's next eye exams!

Dr Hwang and his front desk staff are all amazing! If there were 10 stars I'd give them that rating. My entire family goes to them from kids to adults. Dr Hwang is the most knowledgeable optometrist and explains in length each process and gives recommendations on how to continue to maintain eye health. There's no other professional that is as well versed in occular conditions and I trust him and his staff with my family's precious eyesight!
Orders for glasses and contacts arrive on or before quoted dates, they are so organized and friendly!
