Everyone was nice, however, my prescription for new glasses has been wrong 3 times. I ve returned my glasses 3 times to have fixed and still wrong. I ve worn glasses for over 30 years and never had a bad prescription for glasses til now. I went to get my glasses the 3rd time n immediately knew they were still wrong as words across the room were blurry. When I stated this, the lady behind the counter told me to "stand up n look again." Stand up, really! I have zero faith that this office can get my lenses correct and now I m out 200 bucks for glasses I can t wear. I will NOT be going back next year. Complete waste of time money.

Everyone is highly professional and genuinely friendly. They offer a wide variety of glasses, including many unique styles. This is definitely the place to go if you need an eye exam or are looking for a new pair of glasses.

Dr. Marisol Hernandez is both highly professional and very personable. She carried out a thorough eye exam for my prescription, listening carefully to my concerns and needs. She was very patient throughout the appointment, taking the time to answer all my questions. I truly appreciated that. It was my first time choosing progressive lenses, and thanks to Dr. Hernandez's precise prescription, the lenses made at Desert Vision Optometry fit me perfectly. I adapted to them within just three days. I'd also like to mention Shawna--she was amazing! So positive and helpful while I was choosing frames. I didn't like my first choice--I was really upset when I got home with my new glasses and realized that I didn't like the frame. I wasn't sure if anything could be done in this situation, but next day I came back and to my surprise, they offered to insert my prescription lenses into a new frame for free. This time I was very picky, but Shawna was incredibly patient and supportive. Thanks to her, I found a frame I absolutely love now. I'll definitely be returning to Desert Vision Optometry for my next pair of glasses.

I recently had an eye exam and purchased new contacts at this optometry office, and I couldn't be happier with the service. The eye exam was comprehensive and efficient, and the doctor took the time to answer all my questions. I appreciated that they offered multiple contact lens options that fit my lifestyle and budget. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the prices were fair, considering the high level of expertise and customer care provided. I will definitely be returning for future eye exams and eyewear.

Well let me start off by saying Merry Christmas. I say that because I had my lenses done at Desert Vision Optometry about 4 months ago and I have to tell you I was VERY pleased with the work. The state of the art equipment they use is top notch and the staff if Wonderful with a capital W! Now this review is due to an incident that occurred December 12 where my limited edition Cazal frames were badly bent. Anyone having Grandchildren know that they like to grab at any and everything including glasses The frame was bent so bad that I attempted to straighten them but stopped realizing I might break them. These were my day to day glasses and my other glasses were 18kt gold and didn't work for my daily use. I felt as if I lost a part of me and didn't know what to do. I looked up eyeglass repair online and found several places with prices ranging from $49 to $149, some of which required me to mail them in. I don't know about you but mailing my glasses of to some unknown company did fell right. I then did a more localized search eyeglass repair Palm Springs and Desert Vision Optometry popped up. I did not know they did repairs so I immediately called and explained the situation and asked if I could bring them in. When I got there to drop them off they took them and told me to have a seat. I thought the process would have taken at least a day but 10 minutes later they came out looking like nothing ever happened to them. Now remember in the beginning of this review I said Merry Christmas? I ask how much did I owe, expecting it to be anywhere between $49 and $149. They said no charge, Merry Christmas. Do you believe in the middle of everything we are going through and the fact that I hadn't been there in 4 months they fixed my frame just because. I don't know about you but that means something to me. When someone sees you are desperate, and if you where glasses you know what I mean, and helps you like they did it speaks volumes. Anything I do that is vision related will be done using Desert Vision Optometry, period! I just want to acknowledge the whole team at Desert Vision Optometry and say thank you and Merry Christmas, you guys are the Best in Palm Springs.

In the last 3 years I have had 3 local optometrists give me prescriptions for eyeglasses that were completely wrong for me. I've spent more than a couple thousand dollars of my own money on expensive frames from each as well that were terrible. I finally asked my community on Facebook for recommendations for the best vision merchant in the Palm Springs area. Most responses were the same, Desert Vision on Sunrise Way. I made an appointment asap and my experience from the eye exam to frames to finished product resulted in the first perfect prescription I have had in 20 years. The doctor made me feel at ease so I could take my time with the exam because I thought that was causing the wrong diagnosis previously. He's been in business at that spot for over 40 years. Then the associate that helped me pick frames knew everything about every frame and explained the extras that she thought would be helpful considering my age and lifestyle. After a few weeks I decided the frames I chose were just not what I wanted so I went back as a walk in to pick new frames and order sunglasses with the new prescription also. Again she saved me from making terrible mistakes and was infinitely knowledgeable about every frame I looked at. Without hesitation or attitude they took the old pair back and sold the 2 new pair. The 2 new eyeglasses were ready in less than a week and I have never been happier with a product in my life. What a relief and what a pleasure doing business with Desert Vision. They really care it seems and that's rare.
