I've been wearing glasses and contacts for 30 years and seen countless eye doctors all over the country and Doc Swanson is by far the best. Smart guy, and got me seeing better than I have in years with a very complicated prescription. Also, the front desk girls are all super cute and extremely nice and hard working. Absolutely the best.

Dr. Swanson and his staff are extremely nice, friendly and professional! I highly recommend this location, my daughter and I both utilize his services, he thoroughly explains how to care for our eyes as well as which is the best and affordable contact lenses, not only this but my daughter is very shy and reserved and he brings her out of her shell by using humor and simple conversations, great doctor! Thank you for providing phenomenal customer service.

The optometrist was kind and professional, but the front desk staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful.
I was told it would be $90 with insurance for my contact lens prescription. I saved up the $90 and came back, only to be told that because it was over 30 days, it's now $140. That was never properly explained upfront. It feels like they look for excuses to tack on extra fees.
Instead of showing any understanding, they were snappy and dismissive. Customer service clearly isn't a priority here. Because of the front office alone, I won't be returning.

Dr. Swanson is the best eye doctor I've ever had; very knowledgeable and helpful. He takes great care of his patients and doesn't rush them out the door, he really pays attention to what is being said to him. The ladies are also very sweet and kind and always make me feel very comfortable. Highly recommended.

My wife paid for her contact evaluation had to come back multiple times. We live over an hour away!! They still were not rite after 5 times. Dr said she has an astigmatism all of a sudden. He also said her rx changed to a higher one. Well she still couldn't see!! We went to get a second opinion had to pay again and they said she has no astigmatism. Her prescription did change to a lesser one. We went back to the fist office to get a refund because the whole prescription was wrong. All of a sudden no refunds. So if you go in to get a prescription done and it's wrong. You're not getting a refund!!!

I just love Dr Swanson although his receptionist is extremely very pour and rude. I truly advise as another health care provider to another, his practices good be 200% better. If he was to hire, use method or system of hiring customer care. He attended Bismarck State College and North Dakota State University for his undergraduate studies. He received his Doctor of Optometry from Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Swanson has been happily married for thirty eight years, has two children and two grandchildren. Dr. Swanson's greatest joy is being with his family!
